I live in Mueang Phrae in the old part of town. I have a pension and Social Security benefits. My entertainment is CZcams - Old Time Radio, audiobooks and classic movies. I studied mathematics and Chinese online but now study Thai. My Thai wife and I have a shophouse, car and motor scooter. There is a nice restaurant next to our shophouse and the morning and night market are just 2 blocks away. I cannot imagine things being simpler. My health seems good.

I have a Thai wife and she takes cares of all matters Thai. I never had trouble buying food or things at the market and I could bicycle to places to pay bills. I just watched what the locals did. The way that Thais drive is dangerous and yet comical. I have more difficulty with "reverse Culture Shock" when I return to the USA for a visit. I have less empathy for self-inflicted harm than I did in the past. The USA seems like a mess.

It's sad to see these often old desperate mostly White guys that put little effort into their appearance and as little their effort to find a good woman where they come from and prey on financially desperate girls in SE Asia. Get some exercise, practice better grooming habits and brush up on your interpersonal skills and you can find a woman back home who's sole interest in you is not your money. Don't reduce yourself to being a wallet.

I think. a western man would like to show his public affection for his beautiful new Thai wife/girlfriend Ray. How does this fit in with her cultural beliefs of not wanting to break for "customs and practice" in your country?

i like how this is simple and easy to follow. Boring side, but no crazy sound and noise and bright lights to distract you. Still find it funny that the girls that hit me up on Thai Fr ly are giving me high prices. 3k short term and 5k long term. Some double that. The ones that do it, I am like why would I pay for you? I can get better for free where I am. I guess some girls have to work harder then others.
