I have always said that Belgium is the Arkansas of Europe, so you should fit right in ;)

Just made a Belgian inspired Single as part of my quest to find the perfect summer "house" ale. I think I found it! My grist was slightly different and I used WY1388 for my yeast. IMO it's the least Belgiany of the Belgian style yeasts. My inspiration came from my visit to Westvleteren and drinking their version. That beer is my favorite beer Abbaye beer. Thanks guys! Cheers

Nice one, fellas. I was impressed by the BE-256 yeast as well. Also, I find that BE-134 makes a really good Belgian saison.

If you can find some coconut sugar ,try it out ,very unique taste. It is extracted from the the coconut tree leaf, not the coconut. Low glycymic sugar. I find it a very interesting flavor!

If you have a local homebrew store, that may be the best place to start. They have equipment and ingredient kits that will make it easier to buy what you need. Also, small batches are a great way to start. Check out our small batch playlist on our channel that includes videos like this: czcams.com/video/Aal9_xzfUkE/video.htmlsi=HiV2rCHZffEDMm71

As a Canadian; this is how you bust in the long weekend - With the boys from Basic Brewing! A friend of mine and I do a beer talk podcast and this was close to one of our topics in the current 'craft' beer scene. Has Belgian beer gone a bit quiet? Lovely video on a Friday fella's!

Hi if I were to brew a 5 gallon batch of this beer what would be the recipe?

You can simply double the ingredients and get pretty close. However, your efficiency might be difficult from my stovetop method.
