His biggest mistake was moving to Arsenal. Ozil is a type of a player that doesn’t suite the premier league. This league requires physicality and speed which Ozil is missing, after Real Madrid he should had moved moved to Bayern instead of Arsenal.
Also, Arsenal did not build a good team around him, imagine one time you giving assists to Ronaldo, Benzema and suddenly you find Giroud infront of you that tells you all.
Özil would never play for bayern, he's from Gelsenkirchen, yeah many schalke players are with bayern right now, but Özil would never. Özil still loves Schalke to this day

Ozil is a player that has been elevated to mythical status by people who only glanced and didn't really watch him. It's ironic that you say he should have gone to Bayern because Uli Hoeness, Bayerns president, saw right through this myth and called Ozil out before many others had. He would never have signed him.

Not true, look at the timeline of events. He made his comments in 2020 or 2021, and was dropped numerous times before that by Wenger, Emery, Ljunberg, and finally Arteta. He then played a string of games before he was dropped and eventually moved to Fenerbahce in Muslim-majority Turkey, where he was dropped again. There's a pattern there in case you haven't noticed. If his name was Dele Ali instead of Mesut Ozil you wouldn't say it had to do with a few comments. Even Griezmann spoke about the Uighurs and he seems to be doing just fine.

Because that's a non story made up by Ozils manager/agent to save face. He was dropped numerous times by 3 different managers before he said anything, and he was still playing games after making the comments.
