Season 2 needs to show Green Arrow as the back half of blue sparkle at the Bronie convention. That would be the funniest scene in tv and or movie history
@@Tequila628 perfect superman was Christopher Reeve. Reeve Superman is the first cinematic comic blockbuster super hero ever. Then Gene Hackman as Lex Luther was genius as well. Most people are over the cavill superman. Honestly Dean Cain was better as well. Give credit where it’s due
Peacemaker was James Gunn 100% unbridled, unchained, and unleashed and it was one of the most amazing pieces of entertainment I've ever watched.
Watched you for time Kevin, not really a big comment person but just wanted to say your heart really is on your sleeve and it's always a joy to watch you and hear your passion for everything creative & nerdy. Bless ye bro

Peacemaker is a masterpiece. It takes risks, pushes buttons, makes you think, hits you in the feels, but also makes you smile, and laugh. Awesome interview. James Gunn is incredible, love what he and the Peacemaker cast and crew created: a work of art.

The true genius it doesn’t push away people do to politics. Infact it shows people from all walks of life looking past where they come from and becoming the coolest group of misfits ever seen on screen

I coincidentally watched the original live action TMNT with my daughter the same day that I binged the full series of Peacemaker, and it gave me a really good chuckle to have Master Splinters speech to Danny about how "All fathers love their children" in my head while watching Auggie Smith just exist in general.
I just binged the whole season and honestly I want more!

One of the amazing things about Peacemaker is how James Gunn writes real characters that exist in real life (racists, etc) and then plays against them (thinking about the prison scene with Peacemakers dad and Vigilante).
Yea amazing how they always make out one group are racist as well never others, hang on a minute isn't that racist
Smith has been one of my favourite filmmakers for nearly thirty years and Gunn has joined those ranks over the last decade.

Yea man there is just something about it. After each episode there is new context to it that reshaped it for me, and it’s also just so entertaining and pleasing to the eye.

@@Popculturechameleon Not really, writers are using the comics book medium to get a streaming service deal and Disney is positioning the MCU so they do not have to pay royalties to creators. Same for DC. But there are indie comics that still are good.

There's a question missing from the interview: Will the extended and uncut versions of all of the improv scenes be released? I sincerely hope so. I guess John was listing celeb names for like a half-hour to frame instead of Chris' dad and he was popping the whole cast.

I said this on the clip I’ll say it again. I like suicide squad. Didn’t change my life but it was cool. But I am a huge James Gunn fan. When I saw peacemaker came out I was like you gotta be kidding me. But I didn’t know he made it …. I literally put it on as background noise to fall asleep. By the next day it’s my favorite tv show in a long long time. Hands down greatest opening to a show EVER. I wanted to hate this show but there is no way you can. I’m already rewatching it and going into a depression cause this shows about the only thing that’s made me this happy for a long time.
Suicide squad is definitely one of my favorite dc movies along with peacemaker being one of my new favorite dc shows, and you can see how much he worked on those 2 projects he shot them back to back and went into TSS with brown hair

I really enjoyed Peacemaker, I watched it 3 times already. Every episode had something amazing whether it was funny, gross or sad.
