It's also a big difference between A League and World Cup. He did well. He also did well jumping into the J Lleague, then again up into the Scottish League.... people have very short memories of him doing well when jumping up into higher League. He's won them all at club level when he chose to stay.
This time, he has better players, that match the higher level.
People assume lower levels are easy, until you realise you only have that level of player to work with. He's nor winning those League with Celtic player equivalents. Getting better players at every jump. It would be stupid to bet against him now.

Celtic bhoy here’. Like I’ve mentioned before Postecoglou will demand the players to be sharper , fitter , faster , to fit into his system , he doesn’t take any passengers in his team , the man is a winner and hates losing the ball never mind games , spurs players are going to get a reality check, cause his system demands high pressing , interchangeable passing & movement at speed and purpose with the ball passed with precision and clinical finishing in the final third for 90 minutes continuously attacking , he can change formations like a switch and the players will be well drilled what he expects of them , and they better not let him down , they would like a rant off big Ange , he’ll turn spurs into a different beast that the opposition are going to be very wary of , and the ones that doubt him , are gonna be shocked just how good the man is , not only is he a brilliant tactician, he’s brilliant at identifying the players to fit into his systems instantly !!!

Its not so much about the gap between Scottish and English leagues, that's only about money. Its the fact that anyone managing Celtic over the last 10 years, winning the League and most of the domestic trophies, is not the sign of a great manager, its the absolute minimum that should be expected from any decent manager, because the gap between Celtic and everyone else, is so big.
To an extent the same is true about Rangers, and Gerard didn't need to be a brilliant manager to win the league, he just needed to do a good job, and Celtic to have a bad season.
Surely guys like McInnes who gave Aberdeen a consistent 2nd place until Rangers reascended, and Steve Clarke who made Kille the best of the rest, are better managers than Postecoglou, Rodgers and Gerard, and Martin O;Neil for that matter, who just did what was expected given the gulf in budgets between them and the domestic opposition.

Janet Findlay sounds petty. Brendan brought huge success to Celtic first time around and given that prior to that he'd almost won the Premiership with Liverpool before being unceremoniously sacked, he was probably desperate to go back down there at a different club to show them they'd made a mistake in getting rid of him. He'll be much more content now! He went to Leicester achieved success in winning the FA Cup for the first time in their history and qualifying twice for Europe. The Premiership won't tempt him quite as readily this time around, so he'll either be content to stay longer term at Celtic but I suspect his next challenge will be somewhere abroad after at least three years with Celtic. Martin, brilliant as always, straight talker. As for Ange at Tottenham, I suspect even he, will struggle!
