For those cup style hinges, I find it a lot easier to install the hinge in the cabinet first. That way you can push the hinge into the cup and that holds it in place while you put in the screws.

I just found your channel as we are remodeling our log home. I just love all of the small projects, as it reminds me of the old Weekend Warrior Projects show on HGTV. Now all we see on tv are the multi million dollar reno which are nice and all but highly unrealistic for most home owners. Absolute great job, and we enjoy the jester that tackle along as well,...
