- Oh my word this no-churn strawberry vanilla ripple ice cream is so satisfying to make - and eat! If you've never tried making your own ice cream, now is the time. It's so easy and you can leave the mixture in the freezer to come back to weeks or months later! Delish.

This is the way I make our Ice cream for over 10 years now. It's great in summer when you have the fresh fruit, and it works amazing in winter with jams and curds. It's a pleasure with biscuits or Marshmallows in the mix. Everything you can think of is worth a go. And if you need a stunning Dessert, freeze it in a bread tin that is lined with clingfilm. Take it out 15 minutes before serving and cut it into slices. With a little fruit on the side it looks and tastes like a lot of work but is easy and can be made a week a head without problem.

i've made this yesterday and its WAY too much sugar and i'm a person that likes it really sweet. if you guys try this yourself then dont add this much condensed milk. maybe half a can and go from there
I always find a little elder flower cordial added to strawberries goes down amazing, would be something you could add to this....

Jamie, I am so glad to found you here in youtube. I am from Buenos Aires, and I watched your cooking programme on tv when you were a very young kid cooking in an attic or something like that and shared your food with young boys like you. You were very young and thin (as me at that time😄)
If you make this, please make sure your berry sauce is ~completely~ cooled down! Better if refrigerated first. Or it will melt your whipped cream.
I put the condensed milk together with the cream & beat with the vanilla all in one go, no need to whip the cream first then fold in condensed milk.
Also, if you freeze it in a container with less surface area, freeze it overnight, 4 hours won’t be enough.
I say this to save you heartache, as i have been making these ice creams for years.
I am going to try it with plums! And lemon.
