Hi. We use DTC mode for motor identification run, but we don't use encoder but Id run is performed perfectly.
So, I don't think encoder is necessarily be connected to motor.
@@bishantkumar12589 Yes! I also think that it is only in special cases with certain applications that an encoder needs to be connected. in inverter default mode is DTC mode so i think it is suitable for most motor control applications without encoder.

You have to reset the fan working time using laptop. I have made a video regarding it for ACS 800. You can check. It will be useful

ID run k liye DTC mode must hai, iske baad scalar mode daal sakte hai, no problem with that.
WF k liy scalar mode chalega sir 👍
DTC mode bahut kam place pe critically use hota hai.

check parameter - 20.12 : must be - ON for acs880,,,

hm i tryed open 20.12 setting but there is so many options did'nt understand what to choose

Most of The application are run in DTC mode.
But scalar control is nothing but a V/ F control .
In DTC mode motor will get the better protection also energy consumption is less.
So ID run is must required for DTC(direct torque control) control.

Sir abb Acs 580 Ka fault number 5093 ha
Rating ID mismatch fault hai aapka. Drive k hardware ka information match nai ho raha h drive k stored memory se.

Check the cable. There are 2 types of cable. Both doesn't fit with each other.
Check the connection port. Mismatch of port and connecting lead causes this issue.
Or else. Replace the CDP
880 me standstil & 800 me reduce kiun ?

Check parameter 20, that's Limit - 2003
By 2003 speed decreases
When current increase certain limit speed decrease

Why standstill !! Go for Normal ID run . If Motor shaft can be decouple from load.
It will always better to get the Motor Characteristics Value by VFD during the Motor Identification Run In "Normal(Rotary)" mode.
One thing to do better is to Perform A Power recycling if possible ! Or Control board Boot . (Parameter-96.08 )control board boot changing the value of this parameter to 1 reboots the control unit (without requiring a power off/on cycle of the complete drive module).the value reverts to 0 automatically.note: this parameter cannot be changed while the drive is running.
But sir. As per MANUAL, standstill is recommended
@@bishantkumar12589 ok understood। But standstill recommend when motor shaft decoupling from load is not possible or a huge hard job.
Otherwise to take Normal ID run is always better for critical applications.

The motor is injected with DC current. With an AC induction (asynchronous) motor, the motor shaft is not rotated. With a permanent magnet motor or synchronous reluctance motor, the shaft can rotate up to half a revolution. Note: A standstill ID run should be selected only if the Normal, Reduced or Advanced ID run is not possible due to the restrictions caused by the connected mechanics (eg. with lift or crane applications).
