I think the throttle lag is to protect the drivetrain.
I never understood why guys and to spin their tire and do a burn out. I just don't like buying tires.

6:17 - There is a fix from Ram already, Recall ZA3, the transmission dipstick tube, the dipstick, and the vent hose are replaced.

I was curious if you had any information on what type of fuel mpg you are averaging say both city and highway under normal conditions and while towing?
I completely understand that people don’t buy these trucks for the excellent mpg but I was curious is all.
I just purchased a 2016 Ram Laramie 3500 6.7 Dually. It bone stock at the moment but I’m gathering information before I do any upgrades.

Wow! Look! It even has TURN SIGNALS! That’s awesome! Most all of today’s new cars don’t have turn signals, or if they do they don’t work! I’m going to buy a Dodge pickup!

I just bought a 2022 RAM 3500 with a bunch of Banks add-ons, including the Monster-Ram, Pedal Monster, and some iDash gauges. Just beginning to figure it all out.
I will say that when I first test drove the truck, the throttle response was surprising! The truck takes off! No lag whatsoever!

I do jot know what is going on with the intake heater bolt but I had a 94 2500 till 2018 no issues I had a 2010 2500 for 10 years no issue with it
When the youngster jump in daddy's trucks they like to build boost and stuff heats up especially during the winter hot to straight cold

So you got a 3500 without the Aisin & HO? Isn't that why you would get a 3500 dually for? I got a 3500 srw & had to get the HO & Aisin

Yes, it is with a little jalapeno on the side to make it just right. My 2023 RAM 3500 Dually Diesel is made in USA, assembled in Saltillo, Mexico.

2020 Ram? Do you still have the CP4 fuel pump?
Good question. Two of my neighbors have 2020 F-350's and both have had their CP4's replaced or whatever Ford's fix is.
They already had the recal about for 1 year now... They swap to brand new cp3

I heard you say that you do hotshot,is it true that you get to write your truck off on your taxes??
If you use your vehicle for a business, then yes, you can write off a portion or all, depending on if you use it for personal as well.
Talk with your tax person, if you don't have one, find a good one.

As a CDL hotshot driver who has driven over 400k on Rams and over 350k on Fords I can tell you Rams are hands down better in every way! Better low end torque, way better exhaust brake, more simple design, easier to work on, cheaper to work on, and yes much more reliable. I was a Ford guy but all 3 of the F350s I drove broke down within 30k. I had zero issues with any of my old companies Rams and now as an owner operator with 120k on my own 2020 HO Ram I have still had zero problems. And I work my truck hard regularly towing 30k in and out of very remote mines all over ID and MT. I trust my business and my life with Ram.

My friend installed one on his 2019 Ram and had it set to maximum. It was way to sensitive. he backed it off 50%. It's very responsive.
