- Ever wondered what what to bake someone who likes cookies more than cake? How about a GIANT COOKIE CAKE?!
These super deep, giant cookies are crispy on the outside but oh so soft and chewy on the inside. Loaded with lots of chocolate chips and topped off with their favourite chocolates/candy - who wouldn't love to receive this on their special day?
The recipe in the video is for an 8'' cake tin but you could also use the same recipe in a larger tin for a thinner cookie (9''-10''), just reduce the baking time by 5 minutes.
I've used chocolate buttercream but how about vanilla with a pop of their favourite colour too. The decorating possibilities are endless!

It's really good. Super yummy would definitely make it again!
Thank you. I’m glad it turned out well for you and good to hear you’d use the recipe again! 😊
This looks delicious I wish she put the ingredients in the description box
Hi if i wanna make in rectangular tray is it must do 2 batch of dough?
Where do you get the white chocolate chips from? I only see the regular chocolate chips at the store
If your in the UK, you can get them at most supermarkets in their baking section. You can also order off Amazon but they do come in large quantities. It would taste just as good with all milk chocolate chips though 😊
Looks great! Hoping to make this today, like really soon... not sure you'll see this in time but is it 170⁰c fan oven or not?xx
Hi. Yes, 170oC fan but I would probably drop it down to 160oC if you wanted a slightly chewier cookie in the centre. Happy baking 😊
@@LivingtheCakeLife Omg thank you so much for the fast reply!!! I will drop the temp to 160⁰c then. Thank you!! 😁 xx
@@shaz185 not a problem. Glad I could help. 😊
@@LivingtheCakeLife It's in the oven now... I'm worried I haven't pressed the chocolate chips and chunks in enough 🤦🏽♀️ 20 mins can come quick enough though! Naturally, I had to do a taste test of the dough 🤭 and it was lovely!! 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 will 20 mins be enough at 160⁰c fan? Xx
@@shaz185 sorry I didn’t reply sooner. Working on a wedding cake right now. I hope everything turned out okay?
How would you.make it into a chocolate cookie please
I’d substitute 40-50g of the flour for cocoa powder for a quick substitute depending on how chocolatey you want it 😊
Hi, where did you get the letters from? 😂
I used the FMM alphabet cutters to make these from fondant but you could use any letter stamps or even free pipe with chocolate or buttercream if you have a steady hand (which I definitely don’t 😂)
