Came across your 'shorts', you have the right outlook on life!! I am not an amputee, but now disabled, unable to work again from several surgeries with many complications. I was a heavy diesel equipment, mobile mechanic, for 20+ years. Took me 2 years of recovery to get to a good mental state to want to be able to live. I always appreciate when I see others who face challenges to keep it real life situations. We can make it good or bad, depends on us!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you so much for doing abd sharing this. I lost my leg last year and im trying so hard to get to a place where I can go outside and enjoy the world like I used to. Thank you for showing me both how it is difficult and how to do it anyways.
I just watched every one of your videos! It’s not a normal thing for me to watch every one of someone’s videos, especially in one sitting. But you are freaking amazing!! You are an inspiring human being - and not because you don’t have legs, but because of how much you care! I love that you can laugh at yourself and be so grateful! You are an awesome dad and husband! Thank you so very much for putting yourself out there for everyone to see.
Just one more thing, please get some good hiking shoes!! They have some really good lightweight ones that will have much better grip than your sneakers. Really would hate to hear that the legless shed hunter fell 300 feet to his death because his sneakers made him slip!

OOOOMG, the falling. Lovin ya Bro. I have a Pegleg friend myself. He's a champ just like you are. Watching you almost fall makes my heart race, like aaaaaahhh, and they you "I" do that catch thing where you try to jump up and help break the fall. And yes, positivity with every fall. It gets tired and it may get old...but it pays dividends for sure in the long run! Of all that you show n yada....I just can't take my eyes off of the beard. Mines pretty dang good, but not like that. Killer beard Man!

You do more with prosthetics than most people I know, You inspire a lot of people tp just keep pushing and get up and just work on getting out and get better, be allive. I have both legs and you get around better than I do, I am trying to get back to walking on my own again after another spinal injury, my spine looks kind of like a zipper and that was what the sergeon said, I am planning on going out to the lake close to me and try and walk the slow poke trails and get in the water and not be down so much for a third year (first year was prostate cancer found early enough, made me really sick is how they found it), falling down big fast dropping hills kicked my but last year in the fall now getting back out again and see if I can stay upright.
Bro you can 100% be grateful for gratitude. I've only been an amputee for about a year and i've known 2 people since my accident that have had life changing accidents and they're both struggling to find the will to live. When the EMTs finally came and found me out there all zig zagged up with my foot in my pocket, dude said "what's that? 😳 Oooohh shit you're probably gonna lose that leg bro." That's honestly the first thing they said 😂 I was like leave that thing here man just get me outta here. Joking about it already. The PT nurses were surprised I was willing to sit up and speak to them let alone attempt a pistol squat. They said people with a chart like mine are usually mean and unwilling to try to do anything. I can't imagine choosing to cripple myself mentally after literally crippling myself physically. I'm extremely grateful for my attitude and willingness to continue pushing myself, and honestly just to continue breathing. Keep pushing brother. Gidbbless you and everyone around you that's there for you. 🙏

Just found your channela friend sent me the short of the car door. Just had my second below the knee amputation wasnt doing alot after the first one but now with the second one I was wondering what it would be like. Im waiting for leg to heal so I can get the new prosthetic for my right leg. Do you have an email where I could have so questions answered. Watching the videos has let me see what I can do. THANKS
or a taller walking stick with a cell cell phone gimble on top. kill 2 birds with one stick. Even my grandkids hike with a walking sticks and they are typically a few inches taller than the person
