  • This was a TERRIFYING Camp! I've Never Been This SCARED While Camping Before!
I've camped here lots of times since finding this location around 4 years ago but the last two times I've camped here have been really scary!
Since editing the video I've been able to enhance the audio on those scary sounds and I still don't know what could have caused them?
There was a lot of knocking/breaking of branches/sticks throughout the video and even some splashes from the stream next to my camp which I think could have been caused by the wind. This camp spot is located deep in a valley and is protected from the wind and this is the reason I love this site so much (not anymore).
The terrifying gurgling sound I can only describe as the scary noise from the Grudge movie and we don't have any wild pigs in Bradford, West Yorkshire so this is why I think someone was trying to mess with me just to try and scare me.
I've enhanced the audio so you can actually hear what I was hearing as the GoPro only just picked the noises up!
I also seem to have captured something flying by the hammock that looks to have lights on it and four wings???
I have no idea what any of these are so please give me your suggestions in the comment section.
The last time I camped here I heard some different creepy noises that sounded like a child laughing.

Also... If you're ever in a tent and think someone might be snooping around, keep all inside lights off. They'll project a shadow of your body onto the walls, and anyone outside will be able to see exactly what you're up to.
I prefer exposure, with no tent. But if I must sleep in one, I hang a dim lamp about 10 feet away from the outside. If someone wants to creep up on me, let those bastards be the ones casting shadows.

There are also wild pigs and boars in the UK now, and I believe Yorkshire has some too. Those people detecting bipedal steps have good imaginations ;-). But yeah most peoples imaginations would run wild under such circumstances. The fact your dog was fairly calm would suggest it wasn't people or any danger - dogs have an acute sense of danger.
    My money is on Badgers.

That was scary, I live in Scotland and you do get wild pigs over Britain. That whirry noise was real creepy, also what stands out was the frequency of branches breaking and sounded like heavy really thick branches, even if there was deer or pigs about, I don't think it would account for the amount of cracking noises heard in that. Even stepping on few twigs branches I dont think would sound like that. Some of comments were American folk on about bears, we dont have bears here or big predator animals, so I am puzzled with all the runcas going on. Glad you survived the night, I would not have made it till morning. 👻

You have to witness it to believe it, but we’ve had wild boars walk past us ‘knocking’ their tusks - its frightening to hear, until they actually come into sight. Its very loud and sounds like tree knocks. The chewed bark is also a good sign, seems they were after either the bark or fresh growth - pulling branches down in the process which I think is the snapping type noise.

I've heard those knocks before. I live in Pennsylvania surrounded by woods and a few of us were out there drinking some beers. It started from far away but over an hour or so kept getting closer and closer until it was right in the tree line 50 feet from where we were. When it happened close a few girls got scared and begs us to leave. As my headlights shined into the forest we saw this huge shadow in the tree line. I stopped and reversed but it was gone. The next day we went and measured and it was 8 feet 9 inches tall and for about a mile smaller trees were bent opposite ways as if something walked through them. A week or so later I was mountain biking in the same area and turned a corner saw rustling of a big maple tree and a huge log came flying at me. I was never so scared in my life I flew home grabbed my buddy and a bunch of guns. Two of us couldn't even roll this log and it was dead for a while, had to weigh 600 700lbs. Even though I never saw it from that day on I believe I ran into a sasquatch. I don't scare very easy and this fuckin scared the shit out of me.

The size and the throwing of rocks, limbs, logs, and bent trees are characteristic of bigfoot. Discovery plus channel has a series "Finding Bigfoot". Corny at times, but interesting as well with some footage from sightings..

I was deep in the woods with 2 friends one night in a small clearing with a big cliff that looked over a bay. There's only one path to get there and all around is dense woods and a steep climb down the hillside. We were watching a meteorite shower and for the first hour everything was normal, then over the next 30 mins or so we heard footsteps walking slowly towards us that was clearly 2 feet not 4. As it got closer we started calling out to it and the footsteps would suddenly stop, every time we yelled, then start again a few seconds later. The steep side of the hill it was walking up would be deadly at night with no light or night vision. When it reached the outskirts of the treeline it started circling around the edge so we went into the woods a bit and demanded it come out. It wouldn't answer us, just stop then kept moving forward. The forest was dead silent, all we could hear was us and the footsteps. When it got to about 50 feet or so in front of us we could see branches and stuff moving where it was but couldn't see it so we started throwing rocks in its direction. Suddenly a big rock comes flying back at us, fast and hard. From the height it came at us it was thrown by something tall, at least 8 or 9 feet tall. We ran out of there back to the clearing and decided I would run back down the path to get the rest of our friends, a 10 min run, while my other 2 buds stayed at the cliff to see if it would come out. I never ran so fast in my life and I'm amazed I didn't trip and fall or run straight into a tree. When we got back my 2 friends were scared shtless but it was gone, it ran off when it heard the rest of us coming. I've never seen my friends scared like that before or since and to this day all they will tell me is they heard weird inhuman sounding screams and trees shaking but refuse to say anything else about it. I know they saw it but they won't tell me what they saw, all they say is "I don't want to talk about it"

Youve got far more courage than me 🤭 My husband and I were camping once, and off on our own gathering kindling and firewood. I thought he had come near by and kinda yelled to me, "come over here" so I followed where I thought his voice was down this valley. I'm sat there for a few moments waiting to see what was going on, but then I hear this demonic OOH right behind me as this stump comes rolling down the hill at me full speed. I ran faster than I've ever ran before in my life back to camp, where my husband was in the process of stoking the fire he'd made... Cause he had been there the whole time. He swears on everything that he had gone right back to camp because he found a jackpot closeby and didn't say a damn thing to me. And tbh, where he was at in the fire process would have made it impossible for him to do.
    We left. Swiftly. 😅

Wow that’s insane. Good on you guys for listening to your gut. I solo camp pretty much every weekend and I had one freaky encounter but it wasn’t with an animal or person. I arrived at a campground and it seemed abandoned. Not a person in sight. I remember walking around the campground to get the lay of the land and I didn’t see a soul. I got eerie vibes and the hair on my arms stood up. Thought about staying anyway but I packed up and left. I’ve never encountered a campground like that before and afterwards. This was during the winter in the desert which doesn’t get too cold and supposedly a popular site but that was my only bad gut reaction

Hi I'm a new subscriber and I have to say I enjoyed watching your video! Here in the US most of us carry a few guns into the woods when we go camping for our safety and In a situation where there's someone messing with us while we're camping a loud bang from our weapon of course always pointing it towards the ground but will make anyone think twice! I had a cougar visit my camp once at night and it let out a loud roar until I let it know who is in charge I'm very glad to have my weapons that night! Great video!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Nice that you showed not all trips can be the perfect trip. Some times camping out of a pack can lead to a rough day. On top of the mess you walked into. I have the same reaction when I come up on a site that has been trashed and trees cut unnecessarily. Plenty of downed wood prime for burning, no need to hack a standing tree down. I appreciate how genuine you were. What ever that noise was would have certainly had me spooked. I’ve never left camp due to unexplainable sounds and happenings but got to say may have packed it in early on that one. It’s just now getting ready to be fall in my area so bout time to get some woods therapy in. Hunting and camping season is here. Much nicer in the cooler seasons to camp. Once again thanks for sharing and be safe out there.

At 31:50 time stamp. That thing flying by that you questioned is a cryptozoologic phenomenon called RODS. I remember watching a show about that years ago. Some people feel that they are other worldly creatures that show up in the infrared spectrum. Others say its just bugs flying by and depending on the settings of the camera they can appear like that. I mentioned in another comment, this video scared the crap out of me! Lol Thanks for sharing your adventures!
