Hey man. That movie you mentioned in your area 51 video is A FRIGGIN Trip! I'll be honest Certain clouds made me suspicious as well.and I would have never thought of U.F.Os in that way before.but I still despise them none the less lol
The ghosts aren’t what I’d be afraid of. The things you can see is what I’d be alert about! Wild animals and crazy folk!
The most dangerous thing out in the forest is a mentally ill fellow human being...
@@a7i_. lmao and that too!

I agree with your opinion besides the ghost thing. You aren't yet to experience those type of scenarios in your life. And i wish you don't cuz i guarantee you brother, it WILL change your life so much.
I'm totally fine with animals. Taking pictures seems to scare them off no problem. People on the other hand....
My dad always used to tell me when I got scared of ghosts as a kid; Don’t he scared of the dead, be afraid of the people who are alive. Lol
I once saw a ghost and it was scary. Thanks tbh
Be afraid of both, it's not the dead you have to worry about, but Demon's impersonating the dead.

You can say that but you know that fear right 😜
"I heard an unnknown sound. Let me open the door and go outside." Genius.

Well there's nothing to fear but Fear itself.

Idk how this guy doesn't get more views.... His vids are high quality and playing games in the middle of a Forrest or Insane asylum was crazy to watch.

The story you tell about hearing the screams that were "mimicking" a human definitely sounds like a mountain lion. I grew up in the woods and once when my whole family was eating dinner outside in the screened porch, we all clearly heard that sound of a screaming woman in the woods. It was a black panther, which was known to pass through the area. It was a bone chilling eerie sound, to say the least, and something I'll never forget.
I wouldn't go in a tunnel in bear and mountain lion country in the day... certainly never at night.
Hello Trent,
In circumstances such as this, it would be wise to have a contingency plan for Milly. In the unfortunate event something happens to you while traversing through the forest alone, at night; someone would need to come retrieve her or she'll be trapped in the vehicle. It might even be better to leave her with a local friend if the option exists before going on risky adventures.
I second that !!
I agree wholeheartedly!

I agree, foxes screaming sound like someone being murdered! Terrified me the first time I heard them 😂
The dog will make you aware of any threat around the van so good to know you're in good company :)
It is so weird how me and my friends had the same experience while camping. The scream was exactly how you described it. And it came closer and closer then stopped eventually. It was horrible feeling stuck in a tent like that. Love the vids!
I remember the first time that I heard the sound of something trying to mimic a woman screaming for help:
I was serving in the army; it was a hot, damp summer's night, and I was on guard duty at a warehouse full of supplies and other stuff, in the middle of a grassland with patches of swamp and forest here and there.
It must've been around 3:00 am.
I heard rustling coming from some bushes close to the warehouse, and then a bloodcurdling scream that sounded like a woman was in danger, but with bestial notes, as if something was trying to mimic a human cry for help.
Then, another one nearby.
And another one.
And before I knew it, I could hear almost half a dozen screams coming from different directions;
when I started shedding light to where those screams came from, I could see pairs of glowing eyes fixated right at me.
I was surrounded by at least six pairs of eyes, and I could hear more screams getting closer and closer.
Keep in mind that soldiers on guard duty are only allowed to shoot under very specific conditions, and being afraid of glowing eyes and screams isn't one of them, at least where I come from.
At this point, I could either defend myself in melee when these things tried to attack, or I could head back to my relatively protected guardpost.
I chose the latter, but made sure to walk calmly, looking out at every possible direction while doing so, as to spot early any incoming attackers, and have a fighting chance against them.
After a couple of minutes that felt like an eternity, I reached the post safely, closed the door behind me, and locked it for good measure.
Soon, a dozen creatures had surrounded the guardpost, screaming like there was no tomorrow, but always hidden in the tallest grass and bushes, with only their glowing eyes betraying their positions.
They eventually dispersed when a military truck arrived, and soon after, my guard duty was over for the night.
I informed the other guard about the incident and went on my way.
As I was told the next morning, it was probably a pack of jackals, as the cries of jackals and foxes do sound like human women in danger.
The thing is, jackals do love ganging up, killing and eating solitary creatures.
So, if that night I had tried to run like crazy towards the guardpost, or if I tried to play it brave and move towards the glowing eyes, I would've been a huge steaming pile of jackal poo in no time.
It was neither fight, nor flight that saved my bacon that night, but rather the fact that I kept my cool and did a tactical retreat towards a safe place, without showing fear, but showing great awareness.
I passed from that place a few days ago and, after two decades, it is now being developed. Soon, it will be full with brand-new houses.
My mind raced back to that night, and I couldn't help but think about those jackals, and what happaned to them.
Did they migrate to another location, or did they die in their burrows when the bulldozers arrived and started demolishing the trees and flattening the earth?
Omg your story is terrifying and well done for being so in control of the situation, thank you for sharing your experience ❤❤❤

@@CrisR07. yes they are real. I am not alone in seeing the thing. I was driving home from work and what looked like half wolf, half man lept over the hood of my car. I watched it disappear over the railing of the bridge and into the field. I thought I was going crazy, my boss at the time was a native american man who w a healer. I went to him and told him what I saw. He confirmed it was a skinwalker. Later that year I learned from others at work and in my community that they had also witnessed this.
I lived at the time very near the rez.

Cozy Fire-side ghost stories should be its own genre, it's so amazing to get cozy in some blankets and listen to you tell some spooky stories next to the crackling of the fire. Absolutely wonderful.
I think a lot of what attracts spirits/the paranormal to places like old mining towns is the greed and debauchery and violence inherent in such places. Human emotions tend to accumulate in locations and the objects found there, including in things like gemstones, as you mention, and darker, negative emotions seem to attach themselves stronger than positive ones. You rarely hear about happy places where nothing bad happened being haunted, but wherever there is suffering or unexpected misfortune, you are sure to find some kind of spiritual activity.
I was stationed in the springs for 4 years, I’ve always explore the area. From what I understand, those tunnels used to be a railway. The city removed it so vehicles can pass through it. I’ve driven on old stage rd multiple times. This gives me that kind of vibes.

13:06 Its a young sasquatch calling their parents or a skinwalker. Not as a joke. My uncle who spent 75% of his life in the woods as a hardboiled hunter said "If you hear bellowing screams from the forest when everything else is silent get outta there, thats a sasquatch and it will kill you once it finds you because they are territorrial. Generally dont enter a silent forest because its highly possible a sasquatch has its abode nearby" Now i wouldnt care much about it. But given how he spent his life in the woods and hunted all his life I began to think : He wouldnt joke something about this, why would he even? Now im pretty sure many people will call me stupid as they did with my uncle. But generally do yourself good, if the forest is silent. Leave it. If you hear screams thats not normal(elks, moose and wolfs have very distinctive calls) leave as fast as you can. But no running and keep your wits about you.
PS : I also heard stories from other hunters and wood dwellers that skinwalkers once they sense human presence try to mimic a human in pain or distress so you go out and investigate. Then kill you.
PS 2 : I strongly believe many 411 disappearances are covered up skinwalker and sasquatch attacks.
Hi, I lived in that area for years. It is a beautiful spot. The mountain lions might be a reason, to be on alert, but I've never heard much talk about ghosts. Look up the sounds made by bobcats and red foxes. Both make a range of noises that can terrify you in the night, especially bobcats.
Found u from ur rog ally vanlife video, this my 2nd video im watching from you and i can already tell you're gonna be one of my faves. I love unique content and u have just tht
The camerawork in these videos is really well done. Good Job
You are living the life we all wish we had decided to live before being trapped in the societal norm. I'm enjoying living vicariously through your videos lol. Live it up bro - one life and all.
I really want to do this so bad, the thought of being inside the camper van in a haunted area is so exciting
Reminds me of a really uncomfortable night I spent in our Sprinter conversion about 18 years ago. It was in the New Forest, UK and we'd been to visit my Aunt who lived in a nearby town. It was August and it was just myself, my husband and our youngest daughter, then 8 years old. She was crazy about horses at the time and we hoped to get a glimpse of the famous semi- wild New Forset ponies. We pulled into a small, gravelly area marked Rufus Stone at dusk. There was nobody else parked there. It was a peaceful spot, but as darkness fell I began to feel really spooked out. The other two seemed oblivious to the vibes but I was hyper alert. I thought maybe I was sensing the presence of the wild boar which also roam the forest but there wasn't a sign of any large animals. It was so scary stepping outside in the dark to have a pee before bed! I lay awake most of the night and it felt like a hostile presence was actually inside the van with us. Horrible! In the morning we awoke to tne sound of curious ponies approaching the van, no spooky vibes at all. Later I found out that the place is supposed to be haunted because King William Rufus was murdered there while out hunting.
Such a Good Video this is the second time I watch your video Trent as I do your other videos cause it brings so much to light about your Van Life and your awesome travels and Millie!! But I was just up in Cripple Creek and Victor looking at property and my friend asked... "Isn't this a part of Colorado thats Haunted?" Well' I gitta say' Again this is such a good video and you explained the history of the mining chaos so well. Cant thank you enough for sharing your van life' your awesomness of filming and storytelling and all your travels.
That screaming you heard when you were in the tent was probably a Fox. Just YT the sounds that Fox makes. I honestly thought my property was haunted by the Blair Witch until a neighbor told me it was just a Fox. 😂
Horror experience and stories are the only thing that keep my heart beating. And you do justice to it !!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact you didn’t bring your wee doggie out walking with you for her safety 🥰 love to see kind animal owners 😊❤️
Your dog is lovely - staffies are the best - and it’s brilliant you got her a torch on her collar too
This dude is living the good life in my opinion. I wish i could do this. But watching these vids will have to do.
Please be careful I beg of u not to go into national parks like Yellowstone and the Rocky Mountains too many people go missing without a trace. Keep up the amazing work ❤ from Australia your vids are incredible
Hi. Has there been any genuine investigation into the disappearances ? Could be other reasons than supernatural. From Mumbai, India
@@sameerwadekar8004 Look into the "Missing 411" books that document mysterious disappearances in unusual circumstances.
The quality of filming is incredible
I've been on that road twice in my life, some years later I went through it not knowing it was the same road until I recognized the tunnel, I have an old family photo with us standing on the south entrance next to our Oldsmobile station wagon, that road and area does have a spooky feel to it.
I love watching your adventures. I wish I was brave enough to just let go of everything and just travel. What a fantastic way to live! Good luck in all your journey's.
The courage you have to walking that dark forest roads omg i could never I just die by fear
You are one brave, perhaps crazy dude !!!!! I enjoyed your video very much. Spooky. I watch alot of horror movies so I could not do what you do. Please be safe, safe travels to you and your sweet Millie.
