give it two years and AI will give us 40k movie that games workshop never was able to.

You can not be more dystopian than, the only hope for a good Warhammer movie is AI.
And if somehow we get a team up with Workshop, we might even use more Lore based aesthetics, in future videos. For now we can use " Similar looking " characters.

With the success of Helldivers 2, we can only pray a warhammer 40k version of Helldivers gets made. We all know companies will jump on the bandwagon of success, now we just have to wait and see.
Space Marine 2 is similar enough. 3 player coop with horde type tyranids and we don't know what the additional modes will be. Multi-player or a horde mode which both were included in the original though I wouldn't be surprised if the modes are delayed.

The AI took the orks from Mordor, and the space marines from McFarlane toys and just animated them a bit.
Looks cool. I can see how the Orks and Necrons didn’t look too good, probably because the AI is confusing them with similar species from other IPs. But the Space Marines, they generally looked solid. Makes sense given how most depictions of them are rather similar, so training data gets little conflict. I wonder to see how this develops in the future.

Hey man this is awesome! I know a lot of people are quick to dismiss this stuff because its obviously still rough around the edges- but I think there's a LOT to appreciate about this and AI- not necessarily as the end result, but as an inspiration and rough draft for proper productions going forward. You had a part in shaping some great imagery here so credit to you as well!
I think as fans of 40k we need to take what we can get even if it's not the most polished- since even GW usually can't bring us this level of love for their own universe.

The disturbing writhing and undulation caused by AI will make chaos entities more realistic as chaos can't be truly perceived by humanity. Fix it on mortal creatures like humans and orcs and turn it up on chaos daemons and gods.
The Tyranids would NEVER work with anyone.

I don't believe the enemies of mankind (Orks, Chaos, Tyranids, Necrons and Dark Eldar etc.) could ever co-operate in any effective manner.
You can tell those are static images with some basic animation added later, but it`s still pretty cool.

Lore inaccurate or not, this looks and sounds amazing even with its visual flaws. You fanbois need to imagine how effective AI will be in rendering your beloved 40K 5 to 10 years from now. Eventually fan fiction content will blossom in quality and numbers, and the best of it will rival anything GW produces with minimal expense and resources.... unless of course, they embrace it themselves. We've barely dipped our toes in the ocean of AI directed content creation.
If anything, all factions would unite against the 'Nids, not the Imperium.

Just a little more and Father Henry will finish cooking and whe will feast while all the others will starve for something acceptable.
The great thing about AI is that great SFX will be the norm, and movies will have to rely on great storytelling rather than dazzling effects. Not knocking the important work of previous SFX artists, this will just increase their output of fantastic images.
Orks are mostly going after Angron and the Worldeaters.

I am so glad i never got into the figures. I love Warhammer 40K and all the Lore but i wouldn't be able to afford all the armies and im the type of personality that would want them all.

Interesting video. I'll never understand why some people show such vitriol towards AI generated art or videos. Did the uploader murder your parents? Did the programmers behind this tech burn down your house? It's not even like the creation of this video robbed any actual artists of anything. Its a wonky AI trailer with imagery inspired by 40k, nothing more. It didn't steal your baby's bottle. Such small-minded bitter people, smh.
Because it looks almost nothing like its original source material, and AI-generated art is just soulless
