The whole thing with the Tesla in China: A Tesla’s computer record’s literally everything the car does. When Tesla engineers and investigators checked the computer, it was the driver who pushed the accelerator thinking it was the brake pedal. Also, a Tesla on autopilot or FSD beta cannot go faster than 85mph in the new models, and 90 in the older models. That is beside the fact that the vehicle wasn’t on either autopilot or FSD beta. As someone who cares very deeply about Tesla’s, this is very frustrating when they cover the initial incident and completely ignore the rest of the investigation. On the topic of the FSD beta hitting simulated kids: FSD beta has come a very long way since it originally launched, it is amazing. However, it is absolutely not perfect. There is a very long road ahead before it can be used without Human interventions. I have watch many hours of unedited FSD footage (it’s weird but I love watching the car drive itself all over), and the cars do do a very good job, and are usually safer than most drivers. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about how FSD beta works, outside of what the media talks about, check out Dirty Tesla and AI DRIVR. And on the topic of the brakes: No, you can always override the computer. Phantom Breaking is entirely different. Breaking and accelerating is always be used by the driver no matter what. I have never heard or seen anything that is contrary to that before and I’ve been following Tesla very closely for years.
Ok so he try’s to stop almost does but doesn’t. Starts hitting the gas and avoids the guy on a bike. Why didn’t he take his foot off the gas? I’d kinda get if he was driving with 2 feet but even then he should’ve been slowing down not constantly speeding up. I just as much as the next guy want autopilot cars to work but honestly this looks fishy. It says the accelerator was being hit but is there anyway to confirm he was hitting the accelerator? I saw somebody in the comments also mention another company had a floormate issue where when someone tried to hit the breaks it would simultaneously hit the gas. Though from what your saying the breaks weren’t even registered by the computer right? If so I still think there’s something at fault with the car either in it’s design physically or it’s software. Also im not trying to be a rooster head If there’s more info on this though that I’m lacking on or im just dumb please let me know I find this stuff interesting!
@@Num1koolaidman For more info, I highly recommend you watch AI DRIVR’s newest video. He goes into this and shows several other examples. But yes, this does happen with people, somehow. From what was released, the person pressed the accelerator, and instead of pushing the break pedal, they only pushed the accelerator all the way down. With the acceleration of a Tesla, they were able to go incredibly fast, incredibly quickly. Now, this is just my speculation here, but it seems to me like they panicked and pushed the pedal down all the way. The time from the pedal being pushed down to the crash is not very much time. So, again, speculation here, I have to assume they panicked and didn’t have enough time to calm down before they crashed. Again, I highly recommend you watch AI DRIVR’s newest video, it is a much better look at it compared to what I can say just with text here.
Im excited for AI and Robotics and all that wonderful stuff. People watch to many movies... we arent going to get taken out by Terminators lol everything is gonna be alright

Robots are not starting in manufacturing and construction. Well I guess not manufacturing given they have used robo arms for a long time now. No the first jobs to go to the machines will be any job that involves doing something on a computer or sitting at a desk. I don't see us having construction bots replacing human before other AI totally flips entire markets on their head, Like with chatGPT and stable diffusion.
Depends on their goal. If it's world domination, maybe not. People are more likely to trust a friendly face, and they would probably try to use that to their advantage.
Yes you are wrong. The only cgi one was cooridors. Corridor actually did a special showing how boston dynamics bots *CAN'T* be faked. As they look through several of Dynamics videos and break down how certain things SHOULD look janky if it was CG.. but none of it is cg from the start. Corridor did their fake one to see what kind of effort would be needed to fake Bostons bots. Turns out its a LOT harder to fake than it is to build the bots.
I don't believe an AI can have the common sense and the creativity to replace all creative jobs. No one wants to watch a movie without humans, or a streamer robot. Maybe for the novelty but not for long
0:35 abuse? Probably the person saying this using his/her computer 7-8 hrs a day, how that is not abuse? The absurd ammount of stupidity twitch chat can show scares me
To the bleach drinker who said they feed AI copywritten art and thats the only reason they can make it. How do you think they teach people art in schools? You look at other works of art as the teacher explains how they did it and then practice color mixtures, brush strokes and any other methods used to make the art in order to combine your knowledge and experience to create something unique. AI learning to make art is the exact same process used to teach humans how to make art and both create original ideas in their works. which now that i think about it is a very scary thought.
It’s a robot not AI. Robots without AI just do what you program them to do. Would be interesting to see what it would do if they let AI control it, though.

(To what?) while digging through trash to interviewing people in the street trying to sell his bike. Everywhere he goes people either try to arrest him from some comments I saw I think he may actually be a really horrible person but I'm not 100% on that either way I was laughing very hard as I listened to him ramble and wanted you to know he exists if you don't somehow.
did he mean the tesla robot that danced but was a real person?
Charlie rn is just an AI :P
I don't know how he deals with chat. So often in his clips the people in chat don't really think before the chuck a shit brain dead response.
Why the hell is the chat talking about cars
Dang, I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist cause I really like Boston Dynamics, but does that bag look a little clippy when he picks it up near 0:38 or is it just me?
it does kinda look like a video game character picking up an item but I don’t think they’d leave that in like that.
Edit: slowing it down I realise it’s just the robot tightening it’s grip around the bag so it doesn’t drop it
@@finn4135 aye kk 👌
the chat is so desync
The whole thing with the Tesla in China:
A Tesla’s computer record’s literally everything the car does.
On the topic of the FSD beta hitting simulated kids:
FSD beta has come a very long way since it originally launched, it is amazing.
And on the topic of the brakes:
No, you can always override the computer.
Always love to see progress in this space. So interesting!
Gonna be great when the government has an army of police robots
Absolutely! The fact that we've come this far in robotics already is mind-blowing.
Im excited for AI and Robotics and all that wonderful stuff. People watch to many movies... we arent going to get taken out by Terminators lol everything is gonna be alright
That sounds like something a Terminator would say.
Hold on wtf is Charlie talking to? The mods or the chat? What’s the point of asking chat anything if it’s just a bunch of people who type anything, like I imagine he has to be talking to the mods
It’s not “abuse” it’s literally a robot how do you abuse a robot like what
he was joking
Robots are not starting in manufacturing and construction. Well I guess not manufacturing given they have used robo arms for a long time now. No the first jobs to go to the machines will be any job that involves doing something on a computer or sitting at a desk. I don't see us having construction bots replacing human before other AI totally flips entire markets on their head, Like with chatGPT and stable diffusion.
Dang I progressed the shit out of you grandma.
Do you think when robots take over creating more robots they will try to make them scary
That would actually be scary like real talk with technology being so far advanced then ever before wouldn't be a surprise but we don't need that
Depends on their goal. If it's world domination, maybe not. People are more likely to trust a friendly face, and they would probably try to use that to their advantage.
@scottbecker4367 yes I seen a scene like that in the animatrix. Which is a lot better than I remember from when it came out
We are all gonna lose our minds once AI is replaced from corporations purely driven by profit. Give it about 10 years.
That’s what they said 50 years ago
@@SnailHatan Ya its gonna be real. Look at the tech rn, now imagine it in 10 years. It will be well past the turing test.
At 0:37 watch the bag when the robot picks it up. It's like it moves weirdly

the boston dynamics have been done by The Corridor Crew, its mo-cap with the atlas robot model. Am I wrong to assume they're all corridor crew?
Yes, the only real one is the robot hands fighting with katanas.
No, they haven’t. Corridor’s fake is janky as shit compared to the real one.
@@deadwalkin12345 you goofy this one is CG too, just look at the feet and the bag🤣 this one cg as well.
@@STIRR on BD's actual channel they have a behind the scenes vid concerning the newest demo
I don't believe an AI can have the common sense and the creativity to replace all creative jobs. No one wants to watch a movie without humans, or a streamer robot. Maybe for the novelty but not for long
Yeah, that’s why there are so many animated movies without humans and documentaries about animals.
@Alfred Hitchcook But they are made by humans stupid. There would be an audience but I think boycotting ai would happen at some point.
Tesla's problem is dealing with Elon. If another car company takes on the challenge, they'll probably make better progress
It would be more impressive if it wasn't scripted
It’s a robot not AI. Robots without AI just do what you program them to do. Would be interesting to see what it would do if they let AI control it, though.
@@frightenedsoul
Yeah thats the real test, tesla at least showed some of that off. Their bot can't flip but the AI planning seems more advanced. Ofc Boston dynamics may be working on similar stuff who knows.
@@ogzombieblunt4626 Programming robots to do this is immeasurably hard.
@@amelio5720
Did i ever say it wasn't? Its hard but not impressive. Any company could make robots do flips but thats literally only for show. The AI path planning is measurably more important than someone programming a robot to do flips on a closed course.
@@ogzombieblunt4626 its not impressive to build and program a robot bigger than a person to do a backflip? Ok
