    Love this Company. I just installed the idash, pedal monster, Diff cover and have the monster Ram intake scheduled for installation in a couple weeks. Kate really answers the phone and was very good at walking an old man through the process and was very friendly and knowledgeable..
    * Kate thanks for fixing my issues. I’m a happy camper and all my buddies will be asking for you when they order their toys!
    This idash is awesome. I had no idea how much it could monitor. Very handy where you can also pull up and clear a code if it ever happens.
    Idash works seamlessly with Amp steps and the pedal monster through the OBD post under the dashboard. It just takes an OBD splitter which Kate sold me from Banks.
    The coolest part is they send you every little part you need to do the project. I’m taking about new hardware, tools, sealant shoot even an alcohol prep pad for the suction mount on the dash that I opted for.
    Thank you Banks for making things in the USA putting out a quality COMPLETE product and people to talk to you on the phone directly. It was kind of a neat feeling to know that some of my parts were being made right here in Southern California for me after I ordered them. We need more businesses that share this model. 🙏🏼👌🏼🇺🇸

    I love mine for all the reasons mentioned. The two things that would be most useful additions for me are 1) The ability to configure custom PIDs (define / edit your own custom vehicle "profile") like Torque Pro supports and 2) a Banks analog voltage sensor supporting 0-100V (for use in monitoring a second 12v battery or solar panel input). Thanks for the great products and support!

    After many years dealing with different companies for performance tuners this is my first time with Banks I purchased The banks pedal monster for one of my new vehicles what a difference I am completely sold on Banks knowledge as Banks says with the pedal monster you’re not increase in power but the sensitivity of the Pedal it will put a smile on your face it makes the vehicle instantly react you would think you had another 50 to 100 hp I highly recommend it

    @hammer-r Před rokem +1

    Some one at banks should work on their manuals. The on line manual is incomplete, inaccurate and does not represent the 3.0 LM2 or the LZ0 in any detail. These engines are becoming very popular. Even the latest 1.24 software that you have to download and install does not call out the LZ0. Most of the items in the manual don’t apply to those engines and that’s frustrating for those of us who believe the hype and want to monitor and learn about our trucks. Please spend some time writing a manual for those engines for those of us who aren’t diesel mechanics but want to do what’s right for our new diesels. We need a complete list of the available parameters that matches what the iDash gives us in the way of the abbreviations, what they stand for and what they actually mean so we can work thru the rather cumbersome lists and pages to set them up right in the first couple of attempts. While your tech help does an OK job, they refer to the manual which is not accurate and that’s after waiting forever on the phone or a call back. A frustrated owner. It has so much potential but it lacks in the common sense of being useful for us.

    • @bankspower
      @bankspower  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for commenting. The current firmware v1.24 iDash for the LZ0 Duramax is being actively worked on and updated to address these points of concern as we speak. It's a priority for our embedded software team in our electrical engineering dept. Please email us at socialmedia@bankspower.com for any additional feedback.

    • @hammer-r
      @hammer-r Před rokem

      @@bankspower thanks and please please please have a manual for this engine too so we can reference it without having to wait hours on the phone or phone call from tech help to explain. It would be so much easier to read a well written manual then to be put on the spot with questions, then remember what they said when working on the gauge later on or days away.

    It should be a little larger, not everyone has excellent vision. I know they want it to be able to fit into a standard gauge holder for your A post ( pillar) but it is difficult to see the words and sometimes the numbers as well. Banks should offer both tho, a larger one that can be placed on the windshield and the smaller one. You guys can do better. When is the derringer coming out for the 2021 6.7 diesel super duty ?????

    • @bankspower
      @bankspower  Před 3 lety

      Armed, selecting a 2-gauge layout will increase the font size to almost 1/2" tall, which is larger than the text on most speedometers. And, since you have 5 customizable gauges, you can have 10 parameters at the touch of a button, all with this huge font. Gale, who's 79, prefers the 7-gauge layout which features a larger font on the top. His iDash is in a suction mount affixed to his windshield. Regarding the Derringer tuner for the 20+ Ford 6.7, it's coming later this year. As you may know, Ford changed their sensors from analog to digital in 2020. This meant we had to design new circuitry to talk to the sensors. Stay tuned!

    • @bankspower
      @bankspower  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, we are building the hardware for the Ram trucks. The RAM 6.7 requires timing and pulse-width control. This means it's a whole new circuit board and firmware. It shares nothing with the Duramax and Power Stroke except for the name. As you know, we don’t release tuners, or any parts for that matter, that don’t beat every competitor handily. So, when we didn’t beat them all, we went back to the drawing board.
