Warped has to be my favorite in the original trilogy. The levels are amazing, and I don't mean the water ones, but other than that the levels are very diverse from one another.
I so Love this game! However I would chance a few things if I could to make it perfect: - Add a Death Route with the Red Gem in Bone Yard - Add a Red Gem Path in Gee Wiz with a Clear Gem. -Replace the Red Gem in Deep Trouble, with a clear gem. - Replace the Purple Gem Door from Tomb Time for a Death route instead. - Place the Purple Gem in a Death Route in Double Header. - Add a Purple Gem Path (instead of death route) in High Times instead, leading to a Clear gem. - Death Route in Gone Tomorrow (instead of gem path), leading us to the Green Gem. - Add a Green Gem Path in Toad Village (leading us to a Clear Gem). -The Death Route from Flaming Passion would have a Clear Gem in the end instead of a Greem Gem. -Would scrap Hot Coco away, give it ab extra Pura level instead.
I hate the inconsistency with gems in this game. Crash 1, don't die, collect all boxes. Crash 2, discover a secret. Crash tWoC, Reach part of level without dying then complete death route. This. Look a yellow gem, you need 10 relics. Oh and the red gem? Backtracking. By the way, all the rest are death routes. (This game is still good though)
Also hate the bias. Three gems are in Arabian levels. More than half of the regular platforming themes don't have coloured gems. I mean, Double Header could of have the purple gem, that's more difficult than High Time.
+Persona X although the different ways to obtain the gem were quite easy, you have to remember that this game was made 20 yeas ago. It was one of the first 3D games ever created. I don't think you can blame them because the complexity in gaming wasn't such a big deal. Vicarious Visions would ruin the game of they would change it completely.. But I understand you
I'm aware that it's a remaster. I was ranting at Naughty Dog. There is unused Future and Prehistoric Death Route board sprites. You can see in the previous game, everything was balanced. Only one colour gem, gem route and death route per theme, excluding the few that lacked one.
This will help alot if you didn't know the last gem only requires 30 gold or platinum relics but if you get 31 relics and you have one blue relic the gem will appear I did it actually and the gem appeared
@MaRy QulroZ These are the rewards for beating the time trials. Once you complete a level by getting it’s power crystal, a clock will show up at the beginning of the level once you re-enter it.

I don’t know if your still active in the comments but can you please tell me how to open those couple levels you unlock in the middle of the warp room. Ask if you don’t understand
When you get 5 relics (sapphire, gold, platinum no matter which one) the platform will appear in the main lobby. It will bring you to some secret levels and level paths. Once you get 10 relics, you’ll unlock the yellow gem level path, It’s ‘Level 27’. Stand on it and teleport to the world. Hope this helps
These were export issues back then when I worked on another pc and another software or just glitches I couldn’t see on the video timeline. I know there was a failed attempt while collecting the red gem. Didn’t do it on purpose, just trying to give you guys as much quality as possible tho :)
Crash bandicoot 2 is better than warped in my opinion you don't need to get the relics in crash bandicoot 2 in crash bandicoot warped it has those annoying vehicle and underwater tiger riding levels and you have to get the gems and relics in crash bandicoot warped I'm not a fan of that in crash bandicoot warped

Warped was so good. Minus 5 levels i hated with passion. Dinomight, the other dino map, and the 3 bike racers(4 if you count area 51)
I thought the bike levels were pretty good, I just hated trying to get the crystals because you have to get first place in order to get the crystals.

Crash Bandicoot 3's secret level gave you a sense of wonder.
Beat Dr. N.Gin to get the bazooka. It will be much easier with the bazooka.

You get the "skull platform" if you don't die once on the level.
As long as you have good jumping skills and a fruit-loaded bazooka, you'll manage.

You need at least 5 time trial relics for the warp pad to show up, every 5 relics a new level unlocks

On the tomb wader one I tried to jump on the platform but I fell and died and it disappeared! I had to restart it. Anyone relatable?
Its cause its on the death route. You got one chance at getting there without dying.
