Q: Do you play with the D-pad or Analog Sticks?
A: Analog Sticks, it gives you more control as you can cut off edges etc.

A: Yes, they are absolutely 200% mine. I can make a video of the warp room with the same trial times.
Q: Which level has the hardest platinum in Crash 3?
A: I almost threw my controller away at Hog Ride and I'm not the only one, right?
Q: Are you using any special controller for your movements?
A: Absolutely not, I'm using the default PS4 controller. I do use a SCUF sometimes while playing Call Of Duty

Just got the platinum PSN trophies (Gold relics or better). For some reason Crash 2 was the hardest for me. Just want to say thank you Red Palm Tree. I got stuck so many times so I'd watch your method of getting the relics. You're the master of Crash Bandicoot!

I'm just on my 1st playthrough of Crash games! Been enjoying it a lot. Crash 1 is now 100% done with all gems and platinum relics and I found Crash 2 to be harder so far as well. Now I've got all the gems and was struggling with the 1st level platinum relic, but afterwards I realized I forgot you have RT to run faster :D So maybe it wont be as hard as I thought haha xD
Crash 2 was the hardest IMO but because levels were not originally designed with the sprint mechanics in mind! Crash 3 is way more generous in this regard! Crash 1 time trials are very hard, but really rewarding. Crash 4, nonetheless... PAIN

a long time I got a gold relic on every level in warp room 1 except for under pressure it's going to be a pain to get platinum
Close range only!
In the original Warped I had the hardest time with:
1. Tell No Tales - this level more than the others was almost completely dependent on luck. There was a ramp with a 2-second crate that was basically 50/50 (depending on the freaking wave), and if I didn't get it, then I had to start over. I had a much easier time with Hot Coco I guess once I figured out the layout.
2. Road Crash - Those freakin' turns and those freakin' holes you're expected to avoid while on a wheelie. Took more attempts than the other racing levels (yes, even Hog Ride -- although I guess I got lucky with that one)
3. Tomb Time/High Time - Some pretty strict execution. I actually had to look up a video of someone completing Tomb Time to figure out how to get that last time crate.
Man, your video has really helped me get a lot of the platinum relics. Thank you!
Fighting cancer without treatment would be more forgiving than doing the time trials in Crash Bandicoot.
You know what's funny? The jet-ski controls are harder to control in N. Sane Trilogy than the original. I even double-checked by playing both versions. It's a lot more slippery and harder to steer in the remake.
@@VaporYTVideo I found doing the time trials in the jet ski levels the least impossible and most fun tbh, it forces you to use the controls like a pro tho
I hated them at first but once i got good with them it was actually really fun to use. It made Ski Crazed into one of my favorite levels in the game and I didn’t expect that honestly

Very nice gameplay, couple of new shortcut strategies i never thought of before , a little tip if it helps, in the easier straight forward levels I would utilise the slide n split jump wen using the speed shoes would shave some seconds off. NICE WORK

Hardest Plats in Crash 3 were for me:
1. Hog Ride, the most annoying platinum in N. Sane Trilogy (No, you are not the only one RedPalmTree. The motorcycle controls like shite when holding a wheelie, way worse than the original Crash 3, the hitboxes on the police cars are less lenient, and waiting for the enemies at the start is hella tedious. The other three motorcycle levels all have easier platinum times than the original game, but Hog Ride doesn't for no apparent reason)
2. Tomb Time (I swear Crash/Coco runs slower than the original game cause this time was just so hard to beat even though the time to beat is the same)
3. Hot Coco (Ugh, jetski controls worse in N. Sane than the original game, bombs are placed closer together than original game, nitro hitboxes on ramps are stupidly bigger than original game, islands have a nasty habit of shunting you into bombs unlike original game, and, just like Hog Ride, while the other three jetski levels all have easier times than their PS1 counterparts, Hot Coco does not for no apparent reason)
These were the 3 that gave me big trouble, some others seemed a fair bit of trouble mostly for the same reason as Tomb Time did, like Gone Tomorrow's plat time seems significantly harder in N. Sane for example. To generalize, half the vehicle level plats are overall easier than their PS1 counterparts (Hog Ride, Hot Coco, the underwater levels and the plane levels being harder) and platformer level plats are harder generally.
Overall it's harder than PS1 Crash 3.
I think hog ride was the easiest one I done it 1st try accidentally grabbing the clock when I was doing box gem

@@elevatorkid4814 Looking back at my comment 4 years later, I sound too harsh on NST Crash 3's controls/psychics, guess I was frustrated when writing that comment lol. Hog Ride is still both the hardest and worst platinum relic because of the poorer speed-boost controls in NST, but the fact the times-to-beat for the other motorcycle levels are easier than PS1 is a godsend.
Road Crash's plat is the hardest by far in PS1 and it's such a chore; in NST it's easy because of the more lenient time-to-beat. Makin Waves' plat is very strict with the time you have to beat yeah, I'd put it as one of the harder plats, but I think the level itself is simple enough that the time is manageable enough to not be one of the hardest plats. Oh, and now that Future Tense is a thing, that's definitely a very challenging plat, but actually fun and satisfying to practice and pull off. Future Tense is awesome generally :)

It's crazy, on PS4, I believe record time online is 9 sec for that stage.
I think I had 15.9 a few years ago when I played it on PS4. Sold the thing tho, so no way to check. Was deffo below 16. Me and my friend competed nonstop.

I hate the Deep Trouble level. Just everything about it. Was aiming to just gold relic the damn thing when i just smashed my face through the obstacles thanks to the 4 masks in the level. Wound uo getting the plat. Never have to do that level again

The reason I don't like the platinum relics is because they demand near perfection from the player without enough reward to justify it. Still hats off to you for pulling it off.

I love the runs, but if you're aiming for the leaderboard time records, there are ways to massively improve the time.
On the first level, I recommend not going on the floor, but doing slide jumps over and over and hoping onto the ledges most of the time since the terrain is actually 'slower' usually, but that's far too tiresome to do at times, but it feels like you're flying . But really, Idk if that's true, I still prefer running onto the ledges more for some reason. I guess it's just my preference?
3:00 On that very spot where Crash was standing is where you can use the bazooka to activate the clock, to have a lesser time, per se
13:16 You can just simply break the egg by spinning/sliding, etc. and proceed to run through the course, later then you'll see the dino on the second nest for you to ride instead of waiting onto it at the first one :P
And sadly, killing the dino onto the magma instead of dismounting the normal way is actually the more efficiecnt way :(
25:45 I remembered the time there was a Nitro glitch that let's you step onto it for a split second befoe it explode. That Nitro was one of them, it also doesn't let you hop and just let's you straight up run onto it without dying, it was amazing tbh xD
35:46 If I remember correctly (and I'm not sure if it applies to this ver of the game), when you're hit, the doors would remain open. You could sacrifice your Aku mask at that time to have the door opened since you'll get three after that route
43:29 Same applies here, sacrifice the poor dino so you can dismount immediately without waiting :(

1. Hog Ride (Fuck. This. Level.)
2. Deep Trouble (Underwater controls suck a bit)
3. Makin' Waves (Unforgiving time)
4. Hot Coco (No room for error)
5. Future Frenzy (More times that I can remember I was fraction of a second late)

I swear I'm not lying. I don't think why people are saying high time is the hardest. I just got the platinium in only two attempts. I don't even got 3 akuaku during the run at the end. Maybe it just updated and was made easier than before? For me the hardest are Hog Ride and Makin’ Waves.
Man there are 2 tips to improve: during The run going zig zag is faster and during The climbs you fan do The tornado spin glitch to go so fast

Hog Ride is really difficult to get a platinum. In original CB3 get relic on this level easier than NST.
Second hard level to get platinum relic is a Makin’ Waves (~0.4 sec.)
Wtf pura runs soo much faster in the remake than the original! Overall it seems like the remakes made the time trials quite a bit easier to achieve.
I dont know if its a bug, but i have checked it 3 times. I got platinium and gold relics on every single level, and the game still says that i have 1 saphire. Can someone help me?? I dont want to restart everything just for one trophy!?

Definitely not easy. Imagine being Caddicarus, and going through all the Crash games with platinum relics, and you'd have 202 platinum relics to speed through!

Hog Ride was definitely the hardest, and the hardest platinum out of all 3 games imo. It also took me a good while to get platinum in Tomb Time, and the jet ski ones (except the first one) fairly difficult too. I was surprised though, I thought ones like the underwater levels, and Area 51?, would be hard but I had no trouble with those.

Gold really isn’t hard to get, just complete the level without dying really, I actually wish the trophy was for getting platinum on all levels. At least the trophy would be rare then

Some leves are so annoying like for example there may get a level when in order get a sapphire you need to beat it in say 1:40 and you beat the level around 1:10 and thinking surely that will be gold and it isn't. I'm like wtf lol. I think the level Tomb Wader I beat over 50 seconds and it was still only sapphire :/

well look for me the hardest to get Platinum relics is Crash 1 and crash 2 becuase you keep on die time and time again but Crash 3 N-Sane version time trials is almost still the same so this time i have no Problem with it

I’m stuck in hot coco and can’t get the stupid platinum relic so I decided to just get the gold and get my platinum trophy! I want to get the platinum relic though really bad, any tips?
For hot coco this is one of the most efficient ways to get the platinum relic, so just watch out for the bombs and try to do the exact same thing as I do, good luck!

How do you split the video into parts and write each level name next to the video time, please?
It depends on which program you’re using. Each program lets you cut the video into different clips so you can put the clips next to each other. Most programs also let you use text overlays, I’d suggest to look for a tutorial of the program you’re using. Good luck!
@@RedPalmTree no, i mean the youtube option LOL right next to the video time (example 10:25 ) you can see esch levels' name and the loading bar even highlights the whole section for that specific mark.
Oh, didn’t quite understand! Those are CZcams Chapters, mine were created automatically but there’s an option while uploading to enable them and to divide the sections manually

+Lauren Kay most of them 2-3 times, others +5 but levels like Hog Ride took me some time and a lot of tries, I did one day/game, so one day for crash 1, one day for crash 2...
RedPalmTree oh yeah fair enough , I've gotten pretty far on the first 2 games, I would have been a pretty far into the 3rd as well but somebody (accidentally) deleted my progress 🙄 so I have to do everything again
