Why not buy Brightons recruitment team?
I'm a big fan of Gift he'd be a punt but at the asking price even assuming a United tax he'd be a bargain and the upside of the player is unlimited.
Rasmus Højlund really feels like the one that will go through. Fingers crossed for Harry Kane tho
The summer business that needs to happen
@@StatmanDaveClips Absolutely! If only someone from the club listened to us fans xD
@@sarvesh135already said that United is not in the race for Kane.
Levy will not sell Kane to us, unless we pay obscene amounts
Didn’t know you worked for man united
Hojlund is the striker we're most likely to sign. I think a compromise will be reached with Atlanta plus the lad really wants to join us.
Atalanta, I would be worried if it was Atlanta 😅
We don’t want to buy someone with potential as our main no.9…We dont need another Martial..We need a proven goal scorer and then if budget permit then some young players..
Good work bro 💪
❤
You've mentioned Kudus for Arsenal before but I think he'd be good for United because he's young enough to be the substitute number 9 but he can also play as a 10 so he'd be useful in reducing Fernandes' workload because he plays the most minutes out of every player.
I don't know whether Ten Hag likes Kudus, as he didn't really play him at Ajax. Of course, Kudus did get seriously injured soon after being given a chance, which ruled him out for most of the 20/21 season, but the season after he wasn't given much game time either. Whether that was because he struggled to return to his level after that injury, or there simply was no place for him in Ten Hag's preferred system, or whether Ten Hag didn't like him I cannot say.
Would love Ferguson, statistically and tactically he's the guy we need for future but don't see any chance of it. Hojilund as a second would he awesome but i have a better chance of lottery than both.
Elye Wahi would be a good younger option too.
Rasmus Holund- Winter is coming (middle name)😅
When you say Floran blague you got my attention I like the kid he scored vs Canada was sublime he is the nxt big thing
Plz have a look at Samba Diallo( Senegal u20) He is soooooo good, dribbles for fun and humiliates defenders
I actually don't think it's a bad idea buying 2 of the mentioned strikers and ignoring a proven CF altogether.
Fergurson and Hojlund would be great; and costs the price of one of the targets - 50m for each rather than 100m for Kane. Yes neither is a sure 30 goal striker next season but could get us each 15 goals and 5 assists. They would offer some great competition in between them, each offers something different to the squad, and their competition, coupled with their young age and ability to learn and get moulded by the manager would be great for the squad for 10 years to come. Either would start with the other coming on for him, or even play the duo in attack depending on the situation and opposition.
After all, the squad would still struggle to compete for top throphies this coming season regardless of who os signed, but should be competing the other season with the right recruitment.
The two remind me of the CR7 and Rooney transfers, where utd signed 2 very promising players who went on to give each other the push and ultimately suceeded. Had utd kept the duo, I have no doubt we would have archieved much more.
My first pick is Evan Ferguson, but he would probably cost as much as Harry Kane so Rasmus Hojlund.
Flo Balogun for $40million would be a steal in this market. If we are going to buy a young striker anyway, grab him for sure! If Ferguson is $40 million as well grab them both!!!!
How do you feel about Santiago Giménez
insane clip
All great kids..but mason have more quality plus his already there...hope ETH ignore media...and unleash mason ....😎
Sign Houland and Gift, loan gift to a team in prem league for experience.
what about benjamin sesko? i dont see anyone talking about him anymore
He has just gone to RB Leipzig this season, so not available
Hojlund doesn’t feel as much of a gamble as the ‘back up’ perception people are suggest he could be. Balogun is a shout but would Arsenal sell to us at a market rate not a heavy Prem rival tax
I think Hojlund is only considered a back up because he's probably not ready to be a lone forward in the Premier League. Could definitely see him having an impact similar to Julian Alvarez...
For me, we should not even be debating this, as Rasmus Hojlund should be the goto guy.
Dude is going to develop into a bullish strikers as he has all the potentials to be an all round footballer and he's always fit, a main reason I would prefer him to Ferguson.
Hojlund should be our main guy
Dude is overrated. He is a poor finisher that won't score next season. Everyone thinks he is Haaland lite but his shooting is terrible. £60m is a joke for such a poor finisher.
Calm down dude, seems like you have a personal vendetta against the player. Are you a butthurt Norwegian?
"Shoots like Weghorst" , tell me you have never seen Højlund play without saying you have never seen him play
Hojland is the one for me.
Josh Coburn from Middlesbrough. Very cheap but gets in to great areas and can play. Did class first half of the season in league 1 but B Rovers were so poor second half he barely got chances. He'd finish loads at United with the chances United create.
Also Coburn kept Balogan out of the Middlesbrough side couple of seasons ago but again Boro didn't create a lot in that season
Really need a young guy and a more proven option this window. Hojland and osimhen is the dream for me but orban and kolo muani would be good options
Osimhen would score A LOT but I feel a back to goal striker is needed to link the play, at least until Ten Hag can build the rest of the team.
Muani would be a terrible option… his numbers in the Bundesliga aren’t great and he’s more a running forward and not an out and out no9… plus the requested asking price is about double what he’s worth.
*Edit…. Gift Orban is also a hugely unknown and untested quantity in actual competitive football…. You have to draw parallels with the level he’s currently playing at, and where he is.
Fergusan and Hojland as a pair. Chef Kiss IMO
Striker sorted for the next decade
Id enquire about hojlund see if we can agree a fee of around £40-50mil same with Ferguson...but highly unlikely. Orban i think is a no brainer for €17.5m. and if i was unsuccessful id move for Santiago giménez
Hojlund is overrated. I would take Santiago Gimernez over him as the price is way cheaper plus his finishing is levels better. I want Ferguson as well but will Brighton sell him?
Bro I appreciate your effort you shouldn't be mentioning some names on the striker position, you talking about man united mate, bloody balogun.
Hi Dave 😊
I’d love Evan but I think Hojlund will be the perfect signing. Elye Wahi isn’t bad too.
hojlund or ferguson
Just get firmino on a free and reinstate greenwood. The money should be invested in defense and midfield
Dave, i think most United fans would love Hojlund but the key question remains, how much is too much in terms of his price?
He is very raw. If you expect goals next season you will be disappointed. He looks like Haaland but shoots like Weghorst.
To be fair this is a question with no wrong answers. With ETH who is a superb coach, he could turn any of these lot into world beaters easy. If money wasn't an issue, I'd go with Hojlund and a more established player like a Harry Kane or Victor Osihmen, but if cost is going to be an issue, why not consider getting the two cheapest from the list which would be Gift Orban and Folarin Balogun?! They'd be world beaters, are proven scorers, are interchangeable across the Frontline and solves our forward problems for at least a decade...
Just we don’t need fantasies on players we can’t afford!
Evan Fergusan is very like Wayne Rooney. I hope Utd pull up a surprise by signing him. If Martial stay we can use them both. Also Mason Greenwood.
Great video Dave just a thought regarding Orban, could you compare him to Undav when he was in the Belgian league? Undav got 26 goals and 12 assists in the 21/22 season, transitioning to just 5 goals for a really good Brighton team this year. Eye test shows how poor Undav is too
It's a HUGE step up from the Belgian league to the EPL, I think if he's given more opportunities Undav will come good for Brighton
Galling that we couldn’t agree terms with Ferguson earlier in his career
To be fair to Ferguson why would he have joined United at the time? Hadn't been at our best and our youth development was very hit and miss but it is mental that Man Utd couldn't convince a Man Utd fan to play for them
@@StatmanDaveClips oh not criticising him, and Brighton is an excellent pathway for young players world wide. It’s just a shame we couldn’t, and like you said, couldn’t sell the club to a fan. Hindsight really is 20/20. If we’d convinced Bellingham during the carrington tour….or paid the agent fees for caicedo…it’s all a dream…
I love evan ferguson over Rasmus hojlund and ramos
In my opinion, Goncalo Ramos has higher potential than Hojlund. If both are available for similar price, i would be aiming for Ramos. And Kolo Muani is good, but not really a striker. Evan is ungettable at the moment.
Has the mentality of a kid we already got a lot of them here so no
Surprised you didn't say Mateo Retegui 10 of Tigre 18 goals this season and only half the season is over.
Looking at strikers under 21 in this video - Retegui might make the cut in an alternatives format if that's something you'd be interested in?
@@StatmanDaveClips my bad thought he was younger than he is.
Hojlund - When you say 5 goals in 2 games, that kinda makes 9 goals in 20 starts sound bad. Cause that's 4 goals in 18 starts, did he score zero of the bench?
He is overrated. His finishing is very poor.
Dusan Vlahovic would be a good option!!!
I would 10000% take Vlahovic as a cheaper alternative to Kane
Højlund is class - who ever gets him, where ever he goes, the guy is class.
@StatmanDaveClips. It is reported that Man Utd will spend only 200 million this transfer window whether they sell players or not, please make a video on which players Man Utd need to get with just 200 million
Check out this video bro czcams.com/video/qhTd977h-8U/video.html&ab_channel=StatmanDaveClips
Scotland will have a great team in a few years.
Would take Ferguson over the rest
Amdouni Zeki and return of Greenwood would also be a solution.
Getting medhi taremi as the Kane alternative if they are out priced over an already established striker as they can get a younger or let greenwood develop in that role
No way Arsenal is selling for less than 50 mil euros. Also Rasmus would be the best fit. Ferguson should stay where he is for another season. United should consider Vlahovic or or even Leao!
Leao just signed a contract and hoejlund had the exact same stats as Vlahovic buts cheaper younger and has way more pace. Vlahovic might be better overall but if hoejlund is 20 mil cheaper I’m signing him all day
@@stephenfinglas6220Hojlund is a poor finisher. If he starts for United it will be disastrous.
Mason Greenwood, Charlie McNeil and Joe Hugil?
Dave won`t mention Greenwood`s name.
Højlund is brilliant at what? If he was brilliant he wouldn't just be a sub at Atalanta and he wouldn't get pocketed the way he did against France and Croatia. It's ridiculous people are even talking about this nobody.
Hear me out.... Felix for 9
Just imagine if we sign either Costa or Onana then launching an incisive counterattack towards Hojlund...
Now just imagine instead of Costa or Onana it's Jordan Pickford. Now we're cooking /s
@@StatmanDaveClips oof. that hurt man. 🥲[emotional damage]
@@StatmanDaveClipsPickford ? No mate
@@StatmanDaveClips god no, would rather have Taibi back LOL
@@kankala358 He`s being sarcastic, Pickford is no good with his feet apart from a few decent long passes per game.
Greenwood mason Greenwood 😅😅
Interesting you rate Balogun and yet Arsenal are in for Havertz for 65m... Hmmm!
Havertz isn't a striker, started 6 games there for Leverkusen. Much more of an attacking midfielder who can support a striker rather than lead the line himself. Would love to see what Balogun could do in the Premier League though...
@@StatmanDaveClips I 100% agree, that's what seems baffling to me about Arsenal forking out so much for Havertz when it seems to me it does not strengthen them. Guess we'll see next season? Keep the vids coming, good content.
@@StatmanDaveClips Who will Havertz replace at Arsenal? Will they rotate him?
Get ready for a 200 to 300M January transfer window with Qatar. This one, we probably get Rabiot on a free, Mount, Hojlund and a GK, with luck Costa or Onana.
Scarily accurate
Rabiot -free
Mount -60m
Onana-50m
Hojlund -65m
That's around 170m and with 50-80m sale net spend will be around 120m..should be looking for young centre back
@@sameeppoudel5305 Disasi and Todibo suck, i´d rather wait for January with Qatar, then we can try to sign a top target for CB.
I hope we just go harry kane and blow all our budget..we can slowly get the young gun in january..goal are a primium demands..and kane will be a certain goalscorer..
Ideally i think getting mount, onana, kane and a free transfer ie rabiot is decent upgrade from the last year to keep our momentum.. the takeover is hindrance..so this best scenario for me at least 😊
Arsenal wont sell Flo to United 😂😂
What a joke, ou want to concurrate City with Orban and balogun ? 😂😂😂😂😂
"concurrate"
AWONYIY
Gift orban
"He will grow" no longer works. We wasted time with Martial growing. Need here and now
He did a whole other vid on here & now signings. He even mentions it near the beginning of this vid lmao
@NeddyNoodles I want 2 prime strikers. I don't want youth. Let's buy someone in their 30s
@@mozan33r71I am glad you aren't the GM. It is nonsense to spend big money on old players.
@@mozan33r71 so explain how you would keep 2 prime strikers happy? Both would want to be playing and there'sonly 1 spot available. Ideally you want a prime 9 and an up and coming one who can learn off him. Also why in their 30s? lol strikers hit their prime well before their 30s
Gift Orban is perfect! Hojlund is overrated and overpriced
