That modelling paste looks perfect for making the stern-wake of my model battleship bases - thanks for posting this Alexandra, looking forward to seeing how you put this stuff to use.
These are some really cool basing materials. I really want to take some wood elves and use these on them now. Also the gears would rock for Warmachine.
I wasn't that impressed by the initial grasses, but the rest of the stuff is fantastic. I will definitely be picking up some of these. The floor tiles, clockwork parts and pastes are particular highlights. Thanks for showing.
They do look very interesting, and if I ever come across some in a store, or if I have extra money after a big purchase from an online retailer, I will probably pick some up. I've been using woodland scenics and other similar materials (one thing I find invaluable however is the GW slate chips)
Awesome thanks a lot for pointing these out definitely another product I have to try out :) that leaf scatter stuff looked really good thanks for the informative review looks like scullcrafts have a lot of cool Products to offer
Take it from me, guys. I'm quite possibly Alexandra's biggest fan (ooo I feel a flame war coming on ;) ) . I've been watching her videos for about 18 months and Lester's for about 12. It's actually these guys that inspired me back into a hobby I'd given up years ago! I'm no great fan of any particular company. I just use what works for me and what I can get hold of. No-one's being victimised here, least of all me!!
Also I'm not worried about the products you or anyone else might endorse, they're all good, if they weren't you wouldn't LOOK at them, let alone make a video about them.
@solakwara Calm down, businesses need some sort of endorsement for their products. It's stupid to say that they are cunning, almost childish. If they do not have a lot of money, (and by the way they already have 'short videos' on youtube) this is a very easy way to get more attention to a product. I say this way is innovative, since even I am thinking about getting some of these kits. Nobody is really objecting to these vids, since this opens our eyes to products that we wouldn't have ever seen.
What a shame this company went "belly-up" so quickly, Skullcraft had some very nice terrain details but I'm guessing production costs became more then what they could handle.
@solakwara Even if what you said would actually be true, it'd be SMART advertising. Honestly, I'd do the same if I had stuff to sell. And I don't even mind such videos, there are neat new products to discover. Just like in this video.
There is a very cunning ploy here... note the pattern. Skullcraft issue product promos to ppl that have a large subscription base with many views. Can anyone say cheap advertising? Not even laying out cash to make a short film of their own. I hope you're getting commission for this Alexandra! But I'm glad you got an "endorsement request" (like your chum Lester).
Go to a Garden Center, buy a large massive sack of scatter for a fiver, you then have a lifetime supply, dont buy this expensive stuff thats the same, Garden Centers have lots of other stuff too, fraction of the price and last a lifetime. End result is the same.
@all the above... I'm not criticising... I'm not "fired up"... I'm not skeptical. Just stating what I saw. Cunning, is not necessarily a bad thing by the way, it's one of those words that gives a bad vibe but doesn't always carry that intent. Like "dirty" in California or "wicked" in England. Think about the guys that do bus/train ticket adverts... I'd say that's pretty cunning too. Captive audience... see?
Skullcrafts has been out of business for several months by now; nearly a year give or take a month or two. Also the manager had a large backlog on orders and no one is really expecting a return of the company.
One of my go-to ASMR videos :)
Alexandra should advertise as an ASMR channel, she would get a ton of subscribers through the ASMR community. She has a good voice for it.
I thought I was the only one using it to sleep. Lel.
The baking paper on the worktop is great asmr.
Lmao thought I was the only one 😂

I really look forward to you using these products in your tutorials. They all look very interesting.
That looks to be some very nice basing stuff. I may have to get some for my bases. Thanks for showing us.
Good review. Looking forward seeing how you used them on you're own bases.

Hi alexandra could you make a video with all your current models painted or not painted because that would be pretty cool
Shame they went under, the products look cool!

I am digging item # 1525 it would go great with my nids. Thanks for the heads up
If you want just the "gears and bits" search on ebay for "watch parts".
Looks like a nice little set. Where did you get it from?

It seems that skullcrafts no longer exists. :(
How does the texture paste work?
Thanks Alex, but i still belive those mats are 2 expensive. Maybe im wrong. The only ones i realy liked were the leafs.

I just drop plastic glue onto the base for water. Works well on rocks etc

if you took a 60mm base and put some gears standing up and lying down and cut the plate to fit over the base it would totally badass for a techmarine
