Very cool. Vallejo sells a pumice paste that is pretty similar but only comes in grey. Its easy to use and looks great when washed and highlighted. I've used it for Flames of War bases.
That does look like some nice stuff for basing, I'd be interested to know how the blizzard pot went when you use it. As you said it looks quite a bit thicker. I assume you just apply that to an already painted base. Great review, thanks for sharing.
This product seems superb to me. It's another easy to apply texture. Most importantly a KILO of the stuff is 14.00 Euro! Come on guys, when an excellent inexpensive product comes out give it a cheer!
Silly post button... Anyway the mess the standard pva and sand method causes? This iwould provide more variation and can be combined with sand and small rocks I would imagine would adhere better to it. On a side note I kept expecting you to break a nail trying to get the pots open Alexandra :)
This looks like a nice product indeed, cheap too. I don't understand all the hate, am I the only one that's a bit disillusioned with all the mess the standard pva
Those pots seem entirely too difficult to open close. The white seems to be more like it was dried out slightly rather then being how it was supposed to be. It does look like a nice product, being a paste rather then a paint. Still, I'd think you'd get a bit more bang for your buck. From watching your review, i'd give it a six out of ten.
Tbh i would say it is a waste of money.. You can achieve same using pva sand and cheap filler. I looked their site and need to admit that if they sell their stuff they have best business... Selling branches and chicken bones...
@pepon7676 it was a sample kit, to help you decide what color you like. You're supposed to then buy one color in a larger quantity.
Some people use actual mud on their bases, both gaming and display. That's hard core!

Thanks for the review! In your opinion is it similar to GW textured paints?

Could be the white is the original paste and the colours have had paint mixed in and are therefore thinner ....
Great videos like that stuff arent they using that on the real gw miniatures when you see a picture on the gw site of a model?
