I’m buying this because I’m a gamer and I love how this portable console can optimize high core games like normal game console, I love it .
I love seeing these handheld gaming PCs. I even have a steam deck reservation. Such a cool concept better than a laptop in my opinion.
So I have a question? You gonna be able to work with the steam deck ? Even tho it’s a gaming pc ?
@@Fekvini007 I can't see any reason you can't. Simple as plugging up a keyboard or just using the keyboard on the touch interface.
@@Fekvini007 Also just to add another point here the steam deck is marketed as a portable gaming PC. My point was in terms of portability and gaming it's form factor is certainly more portable than a laptop. Also it plays games and has a built in controller with a simple UI for those games in mind. I don't see why you would want to work from one when that's not what it's marketed for but to each his own. Hopefully that clears things up for you.

Question if am just using this for Steam games and dreamcast, and PS2 games would this be a good choice? i am not trying to do anything crazy most of the games im playing would be on steam i know most would say wait for steam but thats a looooong wait

Each to their own.. the difference is that for drivers reliability & stability is AMD... and for extended long term use and productivity using USB c protocol dock is Intel..
I upgraded to Win11, had to downgrade in less than a week. Luckily you can downgrade without losing data.
Some games I like don’t run on Win11.
(e.g. AC Valhalla, Shadow of the Tomb Raider)
If it’s on steam usually it’ll get a compatibility update

Streaming is pointless it doesn’t use your device hardware, it’s mirroring, I wish you could test psp and wii / Wii U emulators too.

So in your humble opinion, do you think this beast could run emulated Animal Crossing: New Horizons? I mean I know that the game kinda does whatever it wants when emulated with RyujinX on pretty much any device, but like, if you look solely at the technical side, do you think it could give some livable frames? Not necessarily great, sufferable would be more than enough.

@@cjll3036 I’d recommend the top ports as the bottom i believe is for docking and top is for peripherals like controllers , hard drives etc. at least that’s what I understood from other vids and start guide. So far I’ve only used my external hdd on it to transfer emulator files

I got 60 FPS all settings to the max on Fifa 22 if that helps

This is NOT a Switch like experience because out the box you can’t seamlessly switch between TV mode, Table top mode and portable mode. That’s the whole point of the Switch and what makes it unique
But you can use a dock and play the neo on a tv Orr monitor
@@therunawaykid6523 Not out of the box you can’t so without the in built kickstand and dock you can’t seamlessly switch between the 3 modes of play like you can do with the Switch

You pay more for warranty, already paid import taxes etc.
I paid like £1050 from droix, warranty, no import tax, free case, screen protector and get the dock as well once its released.

Is it really worse? I remember my computer cost the equivalent of 1000 USD and it deifnitely...can't run most AAA games. In fact, I think it'd keel over and die if I tried to force any new game down its throat. And back in the day it was a "gaming computer". Today I use it mostly for stuff like art or writing tho because again, the newest game it's able to run is Dead By Daylight and not even on the highest setting. So like...logically, if this trash machine I'm working on cost me 1000, and this thing costs 900...and can run better games than my comp can...isn't it actually better? Genuine question, I don't really understand computers, I'm just the web design and digital art guy.
