- We originally backed the AYA NEO portable PC gaming handheld via Indiegogo in March of 2021. Due to part shortages a PRO version became available to upgrade to and we chose to upgrade. We finally received our AYA NEO PRO 2021 in late December 2021. In this video we will look at the design, overall user experience and do some PC gameplay. Then we will give our thoughts on the AYA NEO PRO portable PC gaming handheld.

Great review! I love love love mine! You’re going to love emulation on it too. One thing you may want to use is Renoir mobile tuning app. By default the frequency will fluctuate and due to the pl3 power limit being lower in wattage it can cause you to raise TDP due whereas having the power states 1 , 2 and 3 locked , you’ll get more even power distribution and can actually slightly lower tdp in some scenarios because you get the gains from the locked power states. You will at the very least notice more stable frame rates in AAA titles but also the high end emulators like PCSX2 (make sure you download the latest 64 bit with vulkan support) , dolphin etc. I just found your channel and enjoy it! Keep the content coming! You both are doing an excellent job!
The Steam deck has a 4 core cpu, that for me is an instant failure.
Great video guys. The one negative thing I would say is the lack of HDMI and USB ports, though the dock seems to fix that.
Overall an interesting device, though I wouldn't buy one if I could even afford it.

can't wait for you guys to do a comparison video when you get the steam deck. when playing the system at the 20w game setting how was the heat after playing for a duration was it still at a comfortable level if playing laying down?
It does get warm, but we wouldn’t say hot. We also never cover up the vents while playing to ensure we get the best cooling and performance. Thanks for watching!

No not yet, unfortunately we are in the Q2 release window and haven't received it yet. Hoping to get it sometime between April-Jun.
