Intro song alone, I am engaged.
We're so glad you enjoyed VITURE Pro (and especially our collab controller), thank you for your review! 😎
Yo any chance I can get one for review? 😅
You really need to fix the interpupillary distance situation. I just received mine today, and they're getting returned. I'm very disappointed.
Can I connect it to my Mac and have multiple displays?
I got mine last week , I been playing Gamepass all along with the collab controllers 🦾❤️
Your selection of music has officially shown your age and I’m here for it.
We're old now
Seems like you totally get it. My absolute FAVORITE thing to do with AR glasses is play games or watch shows while sprawling out on the bed or the couch. Being able to play while completely relaxed, without having to hold up a Steam Deck or whatever to see the screen or crane my neck to look at a TV or monitor while lying down is the. best. thing.
No more neck pain and no more hand pain.
I really don't understand why most gaming/tech reviewers don't seem to see how much of a game changer AR glasses can be.
Which, how is that connection not made, when many people have specifically said the couch, bed is where people are primarily playing, especially the less portable, more powerful ones. The other very common location is the loo
This feels like the review i've been waiting for before I invested into something like this!
Dude, I love your channel so much - the Dweeb persona is genius! Bravo sir... bravo!!
Damn. These openings are getting better and better.
You're on track to hit 100k subs by the end of summer. Keep up the good work!
I hope you're right! 🤞
techdweeb has a default nose
I've been itching for a set of AR glasses for years.. this might be the one I settle on! 💚
First time viewer - but wanted to say you're better than 95% of the tech reviewers on CZcams.
Thanks buddy!
you're now the coolest tech youtubers with that AR glasses
That thumbnail 👌. Now onto the video!
Excellent video. I've owned the Ones and now the Pros - quality hardware and quality support. Just want to be sure everybody is aware that your experience with blurry edges is not the same as everyone else. The dials work great for me (-4.50 and -4.75) and the picture is crisp, clear, and sharp corner to corner. You may need to mess around with the nose attachments to get the proper fit. Also, if you are using glasses in front of the Viture frames, you are likely pushing your face further away from the screens, which could result in fuzzy corners. For most people, the edges and image will be perfectly sharp. Cheers from Canada!
We purchased ours (we got two sets) using your link. Thanks!
Awesome, thanks! Hope you love em!
Looking forward to all the orange and black you do at Halloween 🎃
Definitely one of the best tech products I've experienced so far... Valve should collaborate with them and bundle these XR glasses with Steam Deck.
I can get behind that!
Awesome video. I may give them a go
I came for the controller and stayed for the massive 100 in tv the shoved into glasses 😎
I might just get this for my Thailand trip this year!
That gamepad is magical!
If only it had analog triggers. Sad because it would match my LE Deck perfectly but they gimped the controls.
Looks good i got the rokid max with station
I thought there was going to be a face reveal with this kind of product
i bet you he looks really cute. he’s already got cute hands xD
Super cool! If anyone out there has a Quest 2 or 3, you can emulate on it using sidequest and just bluetooth an xbox controller to it. I used this setup on a plane and it works however the screen will move if the plane turns,,, wild times we live in!
oh, will have to look into how todo this!! sounds awesome!
I'm an uber driver I always have my steam deck with me to play between rides, so the idea of this is extremely interesting I'll definitely be interested to see the future of these if they get cheaper
Easy to forget you only have 80k subscribers... The quality of your videos is better than others with way more. Definitely expect you to at least hit half a million in time
Doggoneit DeckTweeb! Take my money! Also, I feel like it's about time you hit us with another camping vid. I would love to hear your take on the XpeRience with these bad boys.
I bought these, and I'm not a CZcamsr. They're badass! Any youtuber that you think are shilling there glasses to make sales you're mistaking. They are very good and crystal clear! Get the neckband with it. You can download any app and chill and watch TV.
9:00 i've been waiting for regular games to finally be able to be played in 3d, in a vr headset. turns out that guide for native 3d/reshade works for playing regular games in 3d in bigscreen... :D
That neck band was needed to adjust the screen to fit on the glasses...is it still like that..or did they ever change that?
Are you able to plug the glasses directly into the deck, or do you have to use the dock? My friend who got one says the glasses go black after 15-20sec being in a game.
Does the mobile dock support Blu Ray 3D via the HDMI input? Instant purchase for me if so.
You bought this because it's Orange and Black, didn't you. Love the 80's intro song, I wear my sunglasses too.😎👍💯
Never used a VR/AR glass but I reckon it would trigger my dizzyness very fast, especially with fast moving images or first person things. But I got really interested in trying these
For me AR is the only thing I could get into it. I just hate wearing huge VR glasses.
Nice review. How many virtual monitors can it display for productivity use by connecting it to a laptop? And what about the different modes available for having the virtual screen staying in fixed location, moving with your head, etc?
When you compare them to the xreal air as the last generation, do you mean the xreal air 2 pro?
I am also interested in the different screen modes available, as xreal can provide several, each good for different use-cases.
Is there any reason to choose the neck band over the docking station? Does the docking station do everything the neck band does but with more juice and ports?
Really nice review and seriously considering them. Can you use these glasses right out of the box without the docking station with the RG 556?
Yup! Just tested it for ya. Glasses can plug right into the 556 and work perfectly :)
Thank you! @@TechDweeb
I will 100% admit that I picked up a pair of Lazy Glasses that give you a 90 degree view so you can "read" lying down looking pretty much straight up. They actually work really good for playing the Steam Deck too. Nothing as good as these, but for the price, it's a pretty solid thing to try out. Do get the "Widescreen" ones though as the tall ones aren't quite as good for close Deck viewing.
That is such a solid idea!
The fact that they make a battery docking station to connect to your steamdeck makes me think these glasses eat up battery quickly. Have you noticed a significant drop in battery life while these glasses are connected?
Intro = From Nick Carter Who I am Tour?
I tried the original Viture and noticed that I needed to “look down” to see the image. I ended up returning the device. Is that an issue with the Pro model?
Pretty good amount of production value right from the start, what with the song and the animation.
You dont need 2 pair of viture glasses to plug into the power bank. Any usb glasses will work including xreal.
I guess that one of the bonuses of the external battery dock thingy is that you can charge the deck whilst using the glasses as well since the deck only has 1 usbc port. Unless this works with a normal deck dongle.
They also a cable that allows for charging and glasses use, I have one and it works great. The reason for the dock is really for the ability to play Switch, it tricks the Switch into going into "dock mode" so you get higher performance and benefit of the battery. They have a similar bracket for the Switch to attach to back.
I think my primary reason for the dock is to use my ps5 with it. Dad life has you lose the TV at times.
@@Nega_Duck ooh could you link said cable?
Also, if you're a frequent traveler, then this dock is convenient and keeps everything more manageable.
Too bad I have an ROG Ally.
@@capuman So I have the Xreal Air glasses, so this may not be true for you, but in my experience, the Viture "USB-C to Glasses & Charger Adapter" allows me to use my glasses while charging the OG Steam Deck. I also have a Rokid adapter that does the same thing, but it DOES NOT work with the OG Steam Deck, but DOES work with the new OLED Steam Deck.
Again, that's for my specific brand of AR glasses. Others my play nice with both adapters with both versions of the Deck.
How have you found these for reading-text, and using it for general document processing, web-browsing, etc.?
Is the edge blur worse or better than that on the xreal air pro 2? Could you do work with them?
Just got xreals and the blur is killing my productivity
XReal air image are crystal clear to me!!! Full HD with bright colors! You must have a defected product or something!
I wanted to upgrade from my xreal glasses. But I think I’m gonna have the same issue with blurriness. I thought you could adjust it for your eyes. Not only near sighted issues. Wish they had both.
intro litterally made me dance and can you buy the hyperspin attraction emulation drive in south africa
Okay, those are pretty cool.
How long is the cable for the XR glasses? I am lost about the image quality. Is the edge to edge image clarity not 100%? I mean I do not want to have blurry display even if its just around the corners of the big screen. How does ultrawide work at 1080p? Can you name at what resolution to keep it simple thanks.
Included cable is 4ft (can be extended with usbc extender). Edge clarity is not 100% (explained that near the end of the vid). It's almost perfect, but not quite. I didn't try any ultrawide resolutions but it'd be the same as doing ultrawide Steam Link streaming on a 1080p TV.
@@TechDweeb I've tried to justify the cost of getting XR glasses but it always conflicts with me owning a Quest 3 with better specs for the awesome edge to edge visuals. With XR I mean you need a dock if you plug in a controller and or if you want to also power your handheld with xr type-c connection. With the Quest 3 you can just wirelessly stream with Virtual Desktop app or use the native steam link app. Adding the accessories adds to the bulk and total price and it becomes harder to envision if it's really worth it or not. Zenny even sells cheap quest prescription lens inserts. I got a Quest for VR but I've been considering something lighter for pancake games. It's just shocking no one has moved the needle with these low res 1k dime a dozen XR glasses.
Good morning!
Did I miss the elaboration of the prescription attachment and the myopia adjustments? Wondering if my 200/175 eyes can just use the in-built adjustment.
I'm not sure how that translates to the data that Viture provides. "VITURE Pro XR Glasses support adjusting the virtual image up to -5.0D (500 degrees) for users with myopia (nearsightedness)." My prescription feels like it's right in the middle of the adjustment, but it's still not as clear as when I wear these over my glasses.
Oh, they got an actual VITURE USB-C-Adapter so you can charge your steamdeck while using the AR Glasses over the 1 USB-C port! That is a must-have. Thats the biggest Issue Im having with my XR Air 2
Seems like the user satisfaction with the image quality is going to depend somewhat on the characteristics of the user’s eyesight.
I certainly want to try these, so I think I’ll buy them from Amazon during this XMas season… early before they sell out!
saw this on ETA prime the other day. these glasses are cool but too expensive and more so if you buy the accessories that you need or want for it. my wallet says nope
big NOPE
What do your heart says, though?
@@rony_rst ok
That sounds just like 8bitdo to make a controller clearly built for the steam deck but make it a switch controller inside 😭 like literally just give me an ultimate controller with the Xbox button layout and xinput over bluetooth I hate that it's not an option.
Do you have the option of youtubetv or Hulu tv?
just full hd??
I think 🤔 your on to something the vr glass 👓 is going to be the future remember it's in generation faze😮
Ima wait til 4K resolution without a damn subscription to buy 😂 Maybe a few years
I love 8bitdo and their controllers, but that type of controller I have. I maybe put 10 hours on it all together. Mostly palworld, but anyway, the L1 and R1 seem to start to stick after awhile of playing.
Hi, what game are you playing at the 12 minute mark of the video?
Bot Vice
I'm interested, but I'm not willing to spend that much on them. Once a device like this gets to $100-200 it might make more sense, but at this price I could just get a second Steam Deck!
YESSSSSSSS, it's just a monitor for entertainment ...
First few generations of any tech is typical expensive. I've had a pair for about a week, have been testing them out and fully expected to return them.
Keeping them for sure. The 135" screen for the pro is a real thing, would recommend.
My comparison is to the cost of a triple monitor setup or an ultrawide, which is $300-400 and not portable. The desktop software makes this a no brainer once it releases for pc.
I seen a video on a manorial day sale for the x5 pro with the 4t hard drive sent the 199.00 and it’s been two weeks and I can’t get any response from them any help would’ve appreciated thanks
The Viture One XR sucked and it was super overhyped that I was stupid enough to buy one lol. I'll wait another 3 years till this tech improves
These are on my list, would love a coupon lol.
My only gripe with it would be resolution... wouldn't a 100+ inches screen be too low resolution if its only 1080p? I can already see pixels on my 27" fullhd monitor, but perhaps it works differently for VR? Idk
Nice review as always, but the price is way out of my league. I can't justify almost $500 for these even though it's tempting.
The lite version (non-dimmable) is $350, with an additional 10% off coupon amzn.to/4bOqE7S
I have the Xreal ones and use them daily at work, but yeah these are a big step up. Not gonna pay another 500$ tho. I don't wear glasses but I can imagine its a big deal.
You should have made a glasses reveal
What’s the game in the thumbnail?
Can you have a static screen that when you move your head the screen remains on the same spot and doesn’t just move with your head?
Nope. The Xreal Air does that, but you need the Beam device attachment. I think the neckband thing on this does that if you tinker but I haven't tried that.
Yes, with the Viture SpaceWalker App. There's productivity stuff and other expansion of iPhone/Android usage (iPhone 15 easiest) that allows monitor setups that are more akin to AR screens. For example, you can select a 3 monitor setup and "look" at the different monitors, or an ultra-wide monitor. These glasses support 3DoF visual "monitor" usage through the SpaceWalker. I wish more reviews covered these capabilities... everyone is gaming on them XD
❤️
I wonder how the image quality compares to a Quest 3/Pro -to watch movies
I have the Viture non-Pro glasses and the Quest 3. I much prefer to watch tv/movies on the Viture glasses than on the Quest. They are much lighter, you don't have a back strap for if you want to recline in a chair or lay down to worry about, and you can connect them right to your phone and use any installed app like CZcams or Plex/Emby if you have a home media server.
You do need the battery bank if you want to wear these glasses with the Switch I believe, so there is that as well.
handheld tierlist 🙂
I just don't think we're quite there yet and I really, really, really (really!) don't want to be an early adopter on this tech given the price point which is currently a huge barrier to entry for the average consumer.
Talking hands is back again😊
i wonder if i can use my ps portal on these?
i have been waiting for a controller like that. i love 8bitdo controllers and was always upset that the only black and white one had Nintendo face buttons... AND NOW WE GET THIS GODSEND FOR ONLY FORTY BONES????????
I wanna buy this! Great review Techamandweeblade.
Hahahahahah the intro is fantastic
I have the xreal airs, these are neat but it doesnt seem so much better that its worth upgrading yet.
It's a pretty small upgrade compared to the x-real Air. Stick with what you have and maybe the next generation will be worth the upgrade
@@TechDweeb I'd like them a bit lighter, and with slightly larger displays. I've also found that when using mine out and about that I really need to wear a black shirt. If you wear light colors they kind of reflect off the displays and cause contrast loss and visible reflections. I do often wear black, so that's not too bad, but they become significantly less impressive if I choose to wear white some days.
What’s the game on the tumbnail
What are we talking for price on some of these thingys? Is this like an 'accessory' price or 'easily affordable if ok with becoming homeless' kinda price?
Also is there a monocle option for half price with optional fancy cane? Cause id prefer that.
(Yes i Googled the price. They fall in the 'i bought a boring yet reliable car' monthly payment category. Not too bad.)
Literally the only person I've heard pronounce their company as a three syllable "Vich-oooo-errrr". ;)
Canadians always get accused of saying words wrong. Me more than most.
@@TechDweeb just screwing with you man, great review. The tell-tale for me that someone is Canadian is the word "about", but I'm from Wisconsin and most of the people around me have the "Charlie Berens" accent to one degree or another, lol.
I really want to try this kind of glasses. But there is one big issue I have with them: I'm wearing glasses. And from what I see in various videos is that they are not 100% "friendly" with glasses. Yup, you can purchase from the manufacturer of these interactive glasses but they will cost you a frakking lot of money AND they may be not adequate to your vision...
I mentioned in this vid I wear these over top of my actual glasses.
I have the crappy nreal glasses. I wish I had these
i this finally the perfect one for us who use glasses??
I respect the no face reveal I always imagine you look like me
dam the bundle cant ship to the UK as the controller is US only :( making it more expensive if you get the glasses and powerbank..
TechDweeb album drop when?
I got here through research AFTER buying the XR Pro glasses. Still waiting on them!
Just wanted to say, the dozen or so other reviews seemed like they were reading the same script? I dunno, they all seemed to be saying what Viture wanted them to say.
This was my favorite review. To the point. Honest. And with a perfect sprinkle of humor.
Subscibed.
Thank you, I appreciate you.
I need the docking station for my ps5
1080p on a 120" screen? I'll wait for the 4k models.
I'm sure they will be coming along any day now
