All i have is a line 6 spider amp...do you think its even worth buying a EQ people. Is it possible to make my line 6 better when a EQ pedal?
Hey Neil, how is the hiss on your 50w S? Every one I have tried has had really loud hiss/noise floors on both the blue and red channels.
They are quite noisey amps there’s a lot of gain on them like the jvm however I find the 50s the most silent out of all the ones I have had ,may just be mine
The 100el34s is extremely noisey
A gate in the loop fixes this
Or agate in front and suppressor in loop
you should put the eq on the send and return on evh you can hear the difference

Massive plus point on this is the fact its 9v. Trying to find a PSU with an 18v output for the MXR 10 band can be a nightmare

Not yet I actually meant to do it all in one video but ran out of time

@@Machine138 thanks yeah I’ve used the MXR version years ago not much difference,obviously the Sonicake is a bit more cheap and cheerful but does the same job
