I did the same thing to my finger using a rotory cutter while making a quilt.
My cat jumped up on the table while I was cutting.

Cleaning sticky stuff! In Oz we can buy a product made from our Eucalyptus Trees called, Eucalyptus oil. I use it all the time to get the scum off. You may be able to get it in the US? Oh, and, it smells fantastic!

Ty, 9:57 doesn’t the ABYC E-11 standards require either the use of ring terminals or captive spade terminals?
If you have a recent boat don't start looking at the recommendation of ABYC , you will have some nightmare! 😂 spade terminal I can leave with that!

You will find sand in this boat until the day it goes to the breakers. It simply just gets everywhere and is insidious.
Ty, about refrigerators, I did some calculations a few years ago on the Dometic top models vs. standard household A+++ (best european energy class), and besides being approx 10 times the cost, the Dometic used almost 10 times the wattage. My calculations could have been faulty, but I checked them. It kind of makes sense, here a main selling point on household appliances is low energy consumption, and it’s a much much bigger market than RV/camper/boating. There’s major players competing therefore better compressors, better insulation, better management.
I want to share what I know about refrigerant on systems, an old technician said to me you have to use an amp-meter on the load side of the equipment, once it reach the ampere value written on the manufacturer plate that is when you stop adding refrigerant. Sorry for my English guys.
Refrigerant is sorted by weight..there should be a weight label on the fridge you have to use refrigerants scales to allow the correct amount in. When the the correct weight is inserted it will go
@@craigscoullar564 I imagine is a correct and precise way to know the quantity and thanks for share but if you have no scale at hand you can use amp-meter, if you don´t have any you can use the Ty method.

I actually did use the Aunt method for the precise tuning. Scales are hard on moving boats.

Great video ! Vitrifigo are the worst fridge in the world! Compressor run 19 hours per day to keep the temp, very poor isolation ,need to be defrost every 6 weeks and cost a fortune new! I will add your sub -zero to my list of project for next year. Can't wait to put that fridge overboard 😂

Sympathy. A few years ago I sliced the end of my finger off with a meat slicer. Fortunately, I didn’t be bleed on the brisket I was slicing. Eventually it grew back!

Unfortunately the world is a Confusing mess of "Doing it Different".
Imagine how simple & cost saving for manufactures>consumers, if we all did things the same. Appliances, Transportation (left vs right side drive), etc.
Even just in Au, like most, every state/territory has different policing, road/boating laws, building codes, education, workplace/wage regulations, etc, rather than being nationally governed. Even parts of one subject are confusingly governed by national, state, then local council puts their spin on it, onus is on us to know.
Boating (& Air) should at least be safer with international governance, rather than confusion with every time we sail into a different state, country, especially when sometimes translation into english doesn't make sense.

Weird? must be a new editor - 1) Have to get galley fridge done for farewell party in 30min, seems to take way longer than 30min. 2) Suddenly doing 2nd fridge, same shirt, no mention or vision re party, guess it happened? 3) Gassing 2nd (ebay) fridge hoping it will work, then suddenly it's night with finger, no result re gassing fridge?
