Ofcourse you can't compare mcdonalds to a "real" burger from a real restaurant but MAX is a fast food joint so the comparison is fair :)

That was exhausting, keeping up with the subtitles. It brought back memories of my grandma, who came from Finland speaking Finnish on the phone to a friend. I'll never forget how fast she was speaking. It didn't bother me that I couldn't understand a word she was saying, I still found it fascinating. She immigrated to Australia as a little girl. She was a lovely, warm, cuddly lady, and we loved her. She was in her 80s when she died in the 1990s, people still remember her fondly. They also say similar things about my mum. I've been praised for being such a lady. Not only by my fellow Aussies, but by Europeans I know as well. I'm starting another comment.

11:12 Is "Glögg" or Swedish mulled wine. Served piping hot with ginger snaps.

The sign he reads 6:35 is Swedish and means "New radio channel"...
Ny in both Swedish, Norwegian and Danish means new and not New York. 🙂

The cinnamon buns aren't sweet because the coffee/tea are usually sweet and they compliment each other

There is lots of sugar in US foodstuffs, that is the prime reason for the size of the people there too.

A family friend whose father was Dutch and mother was German once asked me where my mum's family came from. (She's a tall blue-eyed blonde lady). I started telling her about my grandma and she said "Finland of course!" I've met some lovely Nordic people over the years. Communicating can be a bit different a couple of Swedish ladies I met could conduct a conversation with more than one person at a time. But when it comes to the gentlemen it's another story. Over the years I've had conversations with a Norwegian gentlemen as well as a Danish one. They both preferred talking just between us in front of their wives. It was nice knowing I had their full attention. Is it similar with Swedish gentlemen?

100% agree, Espresso house is just a better version of Starbucks but not very SWEDISH like, it's just copy Starbucks but does it better. For the traditional swedish real deal fika you can go to almost any other café in Sweden, especially if it's a place with Zoegas black coffee and local home made traditional pastries.

Let's unpack farmor and farfar! So, dad is, in decreasing reverence, fader, far, pappa, farsa and mother is moder, mor, mamma, morsa. Fader and moder is mostly for like pastors and nuns. Morsa and farsa is very casual. Mamma and pappa are normal. But Mor and Far is used in the kombinations, such that farmor is father's mother, and farfar of course father's father. Uncles are farbror and morbror = father's and mother's brother. Grandchildren are barnbarn, children's children. And so on, though cousins and such has their own words.

cousin = kusin, cousins cousin = kusins kusin/3-männing/syssling, cousins cousins cousin = 5-männing/pyssling (pyssling also means gnome), cousins cousins cousins cousin = 7-männing/brylling.
Brother in law = Svåger, sister in law =svägerska, mother in law = svärmor, father in law = svärfar. (Svär =swear, so they are basically sworn in by oath family members)
So I actually once kissed my svärbryllings kusin (cousin^6 in law) without knowing we were loosely related.

There is nothing more disgusting than Oreo. No wonder with all the artificial flavors, Americans know what it should taste like!
