For anyone saying, "There's barely any water getting into the raft", listen. There's only one guy on it, not enough weight for bigger splashes. If it were full, you would get soaked. I've been on here before.

For everyone who doesn't understand or says the drop is too small. The drop is 39', as it stands NOW this is the world record drop for a ride like this, a bigger one will be made in the future of course, but right now it is the largest one in the world. Grizzly River Run at California adventure is only 21'. Also, a ride like splash mountain is NOT a raft ride. It is a LOG FLUME, two totally different ride mechanics and vehicles and both are classified as WATER RIDES, but splash mountain isnt a raft ride, and infinity falls isn't a log flume, the reason the splash wasn't that dramatic was because he was the only one on it. If he had a full boat, everyone would have gotten wet

I feel like the splashes would be bigger if the raft had more than just one person in it. The side with the water coming up wasn't weighted evenly, which is probably why they looked so small

I went on infinty falls and right when it was gonna elevate us we got stuck for 2 hours with britsh people lol but it was still fun

I haven’t went on this ride yet but honestly it seems more fun to do in person than actually see it. I don’t mean that as to be rude to the creator of this channel and the maker of that vid but it just seems that doing it in person would so much more fun than watching on screen

Nothing beats vintage Bigfoot Rapids. The raft ride where you'd literally take 3 waterfalls to the face. Too bad Knott's once again shoots themselves on the foot by removing the iconic ride. R.i.P. Bigfoot Rapids.

That splash is too small... The point of these types of rides is to get wet, and not enough water is coming into the raft here...
It seems based on the weather or climate of the area these rides are In they adjust the wetness levels..
I think it's mostly to avoid the boats tipping over in case of uneven weight distribution or something like that. The other wilder and wetter parts also seem to be much slower.
Ben Vangenechten that's one of the functions of using a rubber inner tube or bumper under the raft. As long as there's enough air in it, it'll float, no matter the weight distribution...
You're seeing near-empty rafts. When they're full, the splashes are significantly bigger.

I went on it with my family and all of us on the raft got SOAKED especially our shoes so we had to walk around the park in wet clothes and soggy shoes :(
I’m warning you though, it was a really big drop at the end and like 2 in the beginning

It's a lot better than this video would have you believe. I rode it about a month ago and we got completely soaked.
The rapid is quite fast, it looks scary, even the way the machine carries the raft upwards, before the drop.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but after riding this, I would put this as the TOP Rapids ride in Orlando
I think that's valid Kali is old and after the 1 drop is pretty boring

I always love the rapids rides at theme parks but living in England means that it'll probably be a cold/windy or rainy day when I go so I don't ride them. I went on one at a Busch Gardens in Florida and it was amazing as I didn't care I was wet due to the great weather.
My city Houston had the BEST and the FIRST rapid raft water ride called Thunder River at AstroWorld. We were a testing ground of sorts, where many ride concepts were pioneered and then copied at many amusement parks around the Nation and the World.
I think remembering going on one that just dropped straight down like a waterfall or somethin

@@Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil Ok, so I'm not the guy that made the comment, but I can step in. Grizzly river run has a little more theming with the lift hill going through a sawmill, and a couple of mineshafts the rafts go through. There are also geysers at the end of the ride that get you pretty wet. The biggest difference is probably that grizzly river run has two drops, they aren't as tall, but they seem to be steeper.

Anyone else find it odd the ride is down for “annual maintenance”.... after being open for only 4 months? I’m inclined to believe there may be a larger issue with the ride.
