Are you a veteran filing for disability benefits? Well, listen up because we have a warning for you! You should never use a VSO to file your VA disability claim!
Why? Because VSOs do NOT use personal statements to submit fully developed claims! That's right, you heard it correctly.A VSO won't take the time to listen to your personal story and experiences, which are crucial to building a strong case for your disability claim.
Instead, a VSO rushes to submit incomplete claims that may not fully represent your disability or provide the necessary evidence to support your case. They might miss out on important details that could make all the difference in getting the benefits you deserve!
So, don't be fooled by the big name of a VSO. They might seem like a helpful organization, but they're not the best option for filing your VA disability claim. Instead, do your research and find a reputable service that takes the time to listen to your personal story and submit a fully developed claim on your behalf.
Remember, your story matters, and it's essential to getting the benefits you deserve. Don't let a VSO overlook it!

I used my local Veterans Service Center and it was all free and they helped me get an 80% VA rating. So in my experience they were extremely helpful during my claims process through the VA.

They def were. If you got 80% w a VSO you can def get 100% with a professional. Its gonna cost you $12,000. However you are not making that money right now. And you will make that money for decades. Your choice. :)

@@waynesimons2095 Not everyone has to goal of 100% or to use the VA as passive income. Many just want to get their situation taken care of and supported. Many with disabilities of various forms can still work and should. Others have private insurance and want just enough to cover an injury or therapy and then let the VA bill their private insurance. The other issue is that regardless of the % they can be reviewed and changed. Many just want enough of a claim to qualify for other programs. I find it odd that veterans feel they are owed passive income for their service.

I tried your way for 30 yrs. Then saw a Disabled American Veterans [DAV] outreach mobile unit and waited my turn to tell my disability story. 3 weeks later, I recieved a letter stating to come to C&P exam. Long story short, after the C&P exam 2 more weeks later I was awarded 100 %Permanent & Total [P&T] for PTSD. That's my story. I wont share any more details for you to twist it to your own
"VA Claims Academy" retoric. Thanks for reading my comments. Don't give up on your claim! Be truthful and honest to a DAV representative. Thanks for your time. I hope this is encouraging to you.

I've done everything by myself. I only used the VSO to scan and send my paperwork and to show me on VBMS what the C&P examiner wrote during the exam. This way have an idea about what I may receive. I was expecting from 30% to 50% based on the notes I saw on VBMS and ended up with a 70%.

I Went with the VSO from TAP as well for my BDD claim. Filed it in July 23, with no help from the VSO on what I needed or how to fill out the forms. I Retired Nov 23, with no medical appointments set up for me or scheduled. Finally had my Medical "exam" with VES in Jan 24. I just got the letter showing 10% disability for Tinnitus, denied due hearing loss, and sinusitis,
everything else is "defferrred" I don't know what that means really, so I'm at a loss, disappointed, mad! 27 years of service and get 10%. I was not an office worker. I was in Aircraft maintenance and Ops. Any advice?

  • @michaelfelt8940

First of all, can't understand the "logic" that charging veterans $$$ amounts to "proof" you care more about veterans than veteran service organizations who help veterans for free. Second, can't understand the incredibly negative attitude toward the VA such that the fact that the VA accredits VSOs - who represent orgs such as DAV, VFW, MOPH (Military Order of the Purple Heart) and NOT the VA - is somehow enough to taint VSOs. The VA has been good to me: I am now 100% P&T BECAUSE of the VA and am grateful to the VA. My experience w/ VSOs was hardly perfect; I did a lot of my own research and mostly filled out my own forms and used VSOs to file my forms and also for some advice. I can say with certainty that my benefits are significantly more sizable that they would have been if I'd paid someone like you for stuff I was able to learn how to do on my own.

My first VSO this year got fired by the county employing him and they left me without any word. Later, I thought I'd give the organisation a second chance to do some damage control and I had to sign a new POA to get a meeting set up over the phone and it was a nightmare VSO with a big ego and bad attitude. I'm working on canceling my POA and firing my VSO first thing on Monday morning. I realised I can do my own claims without feeling like I'm giving the reins to someone, who doesn't care.

I agree with most of you are saying, because you are correct. I do not agree with your statement about paid services because they are not all the same. Some are just case managers, who do all the paperwork and advise you during every stage of the claim process. You still only see VA and VA contract doctors for your C&P exam and you win on the merit of your actual disabilities. I went from 60% to 100% P&T in 6 months; I am very happy with the return of my small investment. Thank you for the education and continuing to serve by educating veterans; I am still learning.

There seriously needs to be a national organization specifically for veterans who have served and have honorable discharges only!!! That organization would have to think outside of the box and start taking lass action lawsuits to the Supreme Court as rights supercede administrative privileges. Most of the actions taken by the VA are clearly unconstitutional and needs to be adjudicated under Article III not Article I the a legislative branch.

Hi Makael, we have a few package options starting at $197. The one I recommend for most people and by far the most popular option is the “Master” tier which includes the on demand online bootcamp plus fully pre-written “plug & play” personal statement templates for all high-roller claims.
That bonus alone is more valuable than the entire course price and honestly l will need to eventually raise the price on that so the VA doesn’t keep seeing the same wording all at once. That one is the best $297, cost of a decent pair of boots. Cheers
Oh, P.S. if it turns out there’s nothing we can really do for you or if there’s not a high likelihood of a worthwhile increase, you are backed by the money-back risk free guarantee. I’m very proud of the business model. Cheers

Where can you turn for help if you believe there was something unethical about how your recent VA claims were decided? What steps should you take if you think the claims examiner will never provide a fair assessment? For me this goes beyond just a simple disagreement with the decision; there is something more serious happening here. A Higher-Level Review (HLR) won't address this underlying issue.

By using the exact strategy (which is even more refined now) that I’m teaching in part here, and that is available for instant access more efficiently via the on-demand online bootcamp. The system works, and at this point you can practically shut off your brain and just follow the instructions.
I likely will not be able to include the fully pre-written personal statement templates for much longer though since the VA will eventually catch on the the same wording, so will have to remove those, change them, or up the price so less people turn them in

My question would be, how does someone in the Air Force, for only four years, doing a desk job and never deploying, have enough wrong with them to get P&T? My guess is they cheat the VBA system by knowing their opponent's playbook and using the VBA's lack of oversight into the whole person, to manipulate the system and use their learned knowledge and lack of integrity to knowingly outmaneuver the flawed system that is in place. Then, after cheating the VBA system to collect undeserved disability, they create a business to screw over veterans for additional income, because they lack any integrity or morals. Don't hate the player, hate the game that the VA and the Federal Government is playing...on the backs of veterans who served and live honorably!

You are bashing VSO's but you do not go to Washington DC to push for legislation that protects our benefits because you can't. Why should any veteran pay for assistance for help for their claims? You are right there is free information all over the web but not all of it is good information. I definitely do not agree with your video.

Everything about this video is completely false and you should be ashamed of yourself for giving this advice to Veterans because you just threw every single VSO under the bus wheels and of course you conveniently forgot to share that there are 3 kinds of VSO positions; County and State (some states) all of which are paid positions with strict accreditation policy and requirements and volunteers. There are no Federal VA VSOs because that would be a conflict of interest for the Federal Govt to file claims against itself, but I get it, you were too busy with your sales pitch, just like the so called VA Lawyers that represent Veterans and then take a large portion of their entitlement when they win. Bottom line, you preach a good sermon, but at the end of the day, your chasing the Veteran's $$. While it's fair to say that not all VSOs are created equal, there are so many falsehoods and slanderous misinformation with this video and if you read the comments, I'm not the only one in disagreement. I happen to be a State VSO and I take my job VERY seriously and my Veterans are like family to me. I've personally worked with thousands of Veterans, achieved more service connections for them than I can track and recovered hundreds of thousands in back pay. I bring my computer home every night and I probably work off the clock more than I work on paid time because I'm very passionate about my ability to share time and space with heroes on a daily basis. I could literally write a novel of reply, but if any of you reading this have ever had a positive experience with a local VSO, please provide a thumb up and likewise a thumb down for the bad experiences. Either way, take the info in this video with a grain of salt because the only info reported was what the author wanted you to hear to promote their service.

    • @MikeSchreader
      @MikeSchreader Před 3 měsíci +1

The utter Arrogance of this original video with the claim of representing Veterans is the complete opposite of what humble Veterans want to hear. The fact that Jordan has no sense of humble beginnings and basically boasts about it really draws discord. Again, yes you are most likely making bank on the sweat and tears of the Veterans you charge $ to hope for a service connection. VSOs are local members of the community who may see the Vet they are representing at Church or in the Bar, whereas, you are a self-proclaimed "Keyboard Warrior" (again arrogance and opposite of many Vets you represent) who says you care, but represent through a keyboard and charge $ without ever watching a WWII or Vietnam break and cry tears of trauma and sadness in front of you in your office setting, but they can't control it because the pain runs so deep. Have you ever experienced that Jordan? I didn't think so. Filing claims electronically and hiding behind a screen and keyboard while funding your pocket is way different than actually putting your boots on the ground, sharing 1st hand stories of the battle, and debriefing through it. You should run for office! You would make a perfect POLITICIAN!

    • @MikeSchreader
