@@gangoffour6690 I call BS - there are around 46,000 police officers in the entire state - Florida ranks 3rd in population while only ranking 25th in overall crime - Polk county 690,606: population, number of Arrests: 32,780... 4.74% - number of cops arrested 3 out of Full Time Sworn Polk County Officers 600.. 0.5%.. looks like the county has just a few more criminals compared to the Police

We live in a civil society...whatever that means to you but that it at least means our society doesn't support torture or extra judicial killings. A good beating or breaking an arm or two would have still been fucked up but that's much easier to turn a blind eye toward than murder. The sherif is a upright, professional and ethical man and I'm glad Polk county has someone that is not vindictive in carrying out justice.

A broken clock is right twice a day. This scary looking killer was right on this one. He gave the other guy 2 chances to change his behavior and he flat out refused.
let them sort each other out. no losses here. the cleansing of society needs to happen more quickly and it needs to be done by the people that are most responsible. let them live by the sword and die by the sword and save all of the rest of us the trouble of dealing with it. put them all in prison. the reason this is happening is because our society allows these sociopaths and psychopaths to freely mingle among the general population. its my opinion the murderer and the person murdered needed to be culled from our general populous. in this case this problem was solved by half the problem. good men should be responsible for the whole problem not just half of it. psychopaths and sociopaths should be dealt with in the harshest possible manner to send a message to the rest of the population. if you do this these are the consequences. its called a deterrent. its what punishment was meant to be. both of these men are bad seed and need to be destroyed. there is no question they've proven this by their own actions. would you want either of these people around your children unattended? if your children are in a public place with others around they are exposed to people like this. thus the need for capital punishment. our problem is that we think these people can be rehabilitated or "cured" of their problems. maybe we should try to help them but after all is said and done these two men were victims of their own actions and got what they deserved. i believe the man that murdered the other should be put to death. eye for an eye. if not you then who?

The victim was no “sweet angel.” I blame the victim and the courts. The victim should have been behind bars. My sympathies to the homeless people in that encampment suffering from exposure to giant mosquitos 🦟 and both the suspect and victim.
Who knows what that dude could have done to one of them ladies given the opportunity.
Sounds like justice was served and he even saved the family from funeral expenses. Any man in that situation would have done the same background or not. Especially if kids were there or the ladies are next of kin. Robert was at the right place at the right time on this one.

Does this sheriff understand what a jury pool is? He gives up too many details. Any decent lawyer could use that against the state. It makes it harder to find a jury. He should know better. The cops I grew up around didn't give details to the press.
