The most underrated performer and band ever. Absolute legends
What you know about Ann Arbor, Michigan 😎🎸
hardly underrated
I think Bob seger is underated compared to Bruce Springsteen.
The American Music Awards needs to give this man a lifetime achievement award which is very well deserved. Bob Seger is a monumental musical Icon and a National Treasure! The Famous Final Scene reaches into your heart and soul. Amazing lyrics. I saw him and his amazing band at the Palace sitting front row off the left side of stage and Bob walked this offshoot catwalk singing Hollywood Nights and was about 10-12 feet from me and he looked right at me with my fist pumped high in the air and he smiled right at me. Bob is the only recording artist to have the most songs ever in major motion picture movies, that speaks volumes to his honor for being such a remarkable singer, songwriter and musician. Thank you Bob for all the memories.
Bob Seger made it because of talent, hard work and commitment.
He not only tells the story he tells it so you can understand it, literally, figuratively and phonetically... he is truly an American treasure...
This might be interesting to you that I'm originally an Iranian. At the time I was in the Iranian navy and then during the war, together with one of my fellow naval officer, Jim Croce and Bob Seger were both our favorite American singers. This was decades ago, but still love them both, admire them a lot, and listen to their great songs with so much joy. Bob is just amazing. God bless him.
Thanks you for your kind words and thank you for choosing my music how long have you been listening to my music
Thank you for sharing brother…good music we can all agree on. Some day we will all laugh and listen together. Until then
Luv u and your music been with u always
I'm 68
My Dad recently passed away, and Bob was his favorite artist. He had the, "Against the Wind" mural on his HD Sportster back in the day. This song I dedicate to him and all the great memories! 🙏
Nice mate
The very best days!!!
@@kimbostitch7034 killer memory to have,..
May you meet everyday in the garden of memory
Beautiful
My favorite. When you not only hear a song but you feel it. Chills every time.
Absolutely! I just love the passion he sings with!
Bob’s passion still brings me chills.
I played this as the last song at my Mum's funeral...I always think of her now..but in a happier way... 3:45 3:51
Bob was the only one who always wrote his own songs. He wrote a song for his good friend Glenn Frey
2 of the best Detroit rockers who will never be forgotten!!!
They live through eternity
Glen’s gone. Bob’s still with us.
@@ravernastahl8963 Lol, yes Bob is still here, and still playing some gigs.
Amo questa canzone! Cosi emozionante... 😊🤗😍😘🎶🎸🎶💘❤️💋💯🌅
@@scottliegel855ciao Scott! 🙋♀️😊😍😘💘🌅
Made me cry for things and people lost
Detroit’s own Bob Seger. One of this Californian’s all time favorites, and this is one of my all time favorite rock songs. Bob was singing to me about my eminent divorce from my then husband. I would take comfort as I listened to him sing it over and over again. That was decades ago. I still love this song.
He has helped me remember the days of being a teenager. He was my first concert in'78. I only wish I could have seen him one last time.
Such TALENT!!!! Bob Seger is a huge part of this 57-year-old cops life!! Bob Seger has helped me make sense of this wicked world.
He helps he helps a lot of people he’s very understanding. Take you in the right direction to understand. I have faith in him.
He's been healing me since the late 70's
One thing was consistent with him in concert. He always looked so happy to be there for us - he really appreciated his fans.
without a doubt. i remember larkin poe, who opened for him, during the last tour, said he never took any short cuts.
He came up with the absolutely best lyrics... in so many songs. Unbelievable! And Fantastic song writer.
No question, Folks, This is THE BEST SONGWRITER EVER, Like him or not, The key to Bobs music, is to listen to EACH and EVERY word, The meaning, and how the lyrics effect are lifes, and what we been thru and HAVE experienced in ARE lifetime, My goal in life is to someday shake this mans hand, and thank him, He is THE BEST !!
amen amen
This was class song my Senior year in high school. Wish i could go back for just one day with all the old gang. Those were the days. 30 plus years ago. Where have they gone?
You are so right about his Lyrics - He must have lived them to have written them the way he has ! He has gotten me through so many hard times & good times -- He has been My Bible !
Do you think he knows how much his music has meant and been the songs of our lives and how they have gotten us through good and the bad? I would like to shake his hand and just say THANK YOU!
this song will outlive us all!!
You can't write songs like this unless you lived it! Been with Bob and the boys since early 70s. My God where does the time go.Thanks for all the memories Bob,thanks man.
So lucky to have grown up in the era of these icons...they provided the soundtrack of our lives. God Bless.
Wow! You said it.

This is definitely one of his best album cuts of a career full of great ones!
I love BobSegar!!! His words make so much sense!!!!!!!
He is totally fantastic , awesome and an amazing singer. He's # 1.
Saw him live in Wembley, I was in the middle of the front row and in heaven. He was absolutely astounding and although I kept shouting for him to do this song it wasn't on his playlist but Turn the page was. It sent shivers down my spine, spellbinding. It was a fabulous concert
Thank you Bob Seger. You enriched my life .
Nothing better than the great Bob Seager in his home Pine Knob Amphitheater.
Bob Seger was and still the best. Had the pleasure of seeing this awesome talented man 2 times in 1983& 1986 in Nashville he was incredible humble man such beautiful memories I’ll always will have. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video and take care of yourself and your family and God Bless Always 🙏🏽🥰🎸💙
The performer has aged and so has the audience, but there will never be another Bob Seger. And the names have all been changed, but it will always be Pine Knob to me. So many memories. So many great times. And now, we sit here wondering if we are going to even make it to the end of the year, and if we do, if the world will be so changed once we come out on the other side...wondering if there will even ever be days like this again with people packed shoulder to shoulder in Clarkston, MI...or anywhere. The famous final scene. Indeed.

My favorite song ever. I love Bob and every song he ever sang. But this one...man....it gives me chills every time.
My favorite Bob Seger song is always "the one that's currently playing" because they are ALL so great.
The best of the best Bob Seger has always been my favorite performer I have seen him like 6 times in concert 💞
There is a good reason the stadium is packed. I feel like he is my brother.
Gives me chills….
Just one of this amazing musician songs. Detroit Rocker, Great addition to all the other beauty Michigan has to offer.
If Garth Brooks covered this song it would hit #1
I never thought about that, but you're right. A great song for Garth to cover.
This man is and will always be LEGEND.

It's been coming on so long ,You were just the last to knowMy God soooooo true
a truly amazing song.....Great job Bob!
Bob wanted to retire in 1996 But this was beautiful from Pine Knob in 1996 and also have his former band members there also which was beautiful
So glad he took his 10 years off be be there for his kids growing up, and then went back to the road performing. I saw him in 1986 and 2013, both the best concerts I ever saw. Sings from the soul like nobody else does that reaches into me. A living legend! His music will never go away!
Awesome Bobby ! Thank you for the all the great music ! Your awesome
Thanks you for your kind words and thank you for choosing my music how long have you been listening to my music
There is God and there's Bob Seger what creators 🙏❤
Classic recording from Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkton, MI. About 30 miles north of Detroit going up I-75. Pine Knob is now known as DTE Music Theatre and it still rocks every summer night to this day!
To me, It's still Pine Knob. I love it when artist today play there and say "It's great to be back at Pine Knob!"
marty3888 Yes! Always will be Pine Knob! I saw Peter Frampton play at DTE aka Pine Knob. He ranted for like five minutes about how it'll always be Pine Knob. We were all going nuts cheering!

Pete Carr's long, lonesome guitar playing along with Barry Beckett's piano and organ setting the tone.
Bob Seger, the Best of the Best.
Thanks you for your kind words and thank you for choosing my music how long have you been listening to my music
Final scene 🌹 nice
simply the best ever
What a legend!
This is Columbus, OH...I was there that night. The band played for 2 1/2 hrs! I burnt the end of my thumb with a cigarette lighter because I spent most of the evening holding it above me while singing along with the crowd to the songs.
Sorry, but I think this is video was shot at Pine Knob, just outside of Detroit, look at the beginning where the limo's are coming in, those are Michigan Plates on those Limo's
Joe Lucido U r right...
I've never been to Pine Knob, I have been to Auburn Hills theater though (another famous place he's played). This sure looks exactly like the old Polaris Amphitheater which is now known as Germain in Columbus, OH. Either way, the show I saw that night on May 24th 1996 was amazing and still one of my favorite all time shows.
Some of this looks like Pine Knob.
@@marty3888

When It meant something
And Drinking Budweiser Beer out of Tin Cans.
It sure dod. It meant so much. I was 15 in 78 and went to my first Bob Seger concert. I fell madly in love with him and his voice. I'm 56 and still a fan.
Barb Shelton I’m 62, been a huge Bob Seger fan since I was a teenager! That raspy voice just melts me! He’s one of the most underrated songwriters, I was soooo happy when they finally inducted him in the rock and roll hall of fame!
WOW WHAT A SONG THIS GUY IS UNREAL JUST WISH HE WOULD COME TO THE UK
Totally Agree Busterbill....
It's 2019 and Bob is doing his last tour, it's a real shame Bob didn't travel. I think he only did the UK twice in his career. You got to Cash take a trip.
