That is so true. I've been all over America on a Harley Davidson. I have not seen my daughter's mother in over 25 years. And our daughter will be 31 in April. However I see her in my mind, my dreams, and in other women's looks, and actions. And I still look for her in cars that I pass on the road, restraints, stores, and everywhere else I go. I probably will never see her again in this lifetime. But she will ALWAYS be there in my heart.
Lost my dear friend Billy in June of 2022..I sure miss him...I loved it when he and I got on his Harley and went wherever the wind took us..we listened to Bob Seger a lot..I would wrap my arms around him..lay my head on his back and enjoy the moment. That is a beautiful post..my grandma has been without grandpa for 32..my age, died when I was 6 months old. She's been single, by choice lol...these 32 going on 33 years. 86 years old and still going strong...but misses him every single day
This guy is a forever never ending vocal artist with a great gift that has been entertaining many generations of music lovers for years. I could listen to Bob Seger's music non stop day after day. A voice that you never forget or tire of and to this date can give me to get goose bumps when I hear so many of his hits.

He never had throat cancer, that was just a rumor, he said in an interview. He took off 10+ years so not to miss out on his kids growing up and spending family time with them and his wife.

Bob Seger is one of the greatest Rock & Roll singers and writers. He is the man! I know I may never get to see him in person, but I will always be grateful for his talent.
I first saw Bob in person at the "Battle of the Bands" at the old Ford Rotunda, in the late 1960's. We were also there for "Live Bullet" and the "Pontiac Silver dome" Concert.
my dad just passed and he was such a big fan of bob seger, his album was playing until my dad's last breath so at the wake we played bob seger as well. his music will always be special to me

I was in the grocery store on the verge of tears thinking of my Grandpa that just died. I wanted to be with him, and at that moment, I listened to the lyrics of the song playing in the store and they were,"I'll be around.... if you'll wait for me." : ) I love you, Grandpa.

Few weeks ago I was watching this video. Had a few beers . Enjoying myself. The next day I went to the local Harley dealership and bought a Wide Glide . Bob. Seger will do that to a guy . Keeps ya young .
I was born and raised in Toledo,Ohio..I am very proud to have been a buckeye although the most talent came from Michigan..it was just a few miles over the state line. Used to hear alot of stories about Bob Seger and Ted Nugent coming down to Toledo Sports Arena to do shows.. I consiser myself 'lucky' to have been to a seger show with my first real girlfriend..and took some pics of him walking to his dressing room backstage.Good Times!
Been listening to Seger since he first came out. My life has been so blessed by his music and some songs have helped me through some VERY difficult times. I relate to EVERY song. EXCELLENT artist! His last concert was just as great, he put on quite a wonderful show in Cleveland!

Well, if I pick an absolute favorite song that Bob Seger sings it would be “Turn the Page”. He wrote the words and then instructed Alto Reed to blow his horn and make the music! Such a loss for Bob and us when Alto Reed passed away. He was Bob’s best friend! #2 song is Against the Wind which I love listening to when I ride my Harley Davidson. Did you know that Bob Seger wrote the words to Turn the Page in 1972 and he then turned to Alto Reed and told him to blow his horn and make the music for Turn the Page. Alto Reed was Bob’s best friend and Bob was devastated when Alto passed away in 2020. Such an incredible loss!

My wife & I saw him 11/8/06 in Grand Rapids, Mi. He rocked. 12K seats sold out in 4 minutes. His new songs sounded great. The best thing about Bob is that he sings his songs from the heart and doesn't care what people think about him (he showed up on stage in a black t-shirt & blue jeans) It was a great show, I doubt if anybody was disappointed. He did comment though" Man, I sure feel 61 years old" towards the end of the show. Bob's always been one of my favorites, always will be.

Few weeks ago I was watching this video. Had a few beers . Enjoying myself. The next day I went to the local Harley dealership and bought a Wide Glide . Bob. Seger will do that to a guy . Keeps ya young .
I was born and raised in Toledo,Ohio..I am very proud to have been a buckeye although the most talent came from Michigan..it was just a few miles over the state line. Used to hear alot of stories about Bob Seger and Ted Nugent coming down to Toledo Sports Arena to do shows.. I consiser myself 'lucky' to have been to a seger show with my first real girlfriend..and took some pics of him walking to his dressing room backstage.Good Times!
Been listening to Seger since he first came out. My life has been so blessed by his music and some songs have helped me through some VERY difficult times. I relate to EVERY song. EXCELLENT artist! His last concert was just as great, he put on quite a wonderful show in Cleveland!

Well, if I pick an absolute favorite song that Bob Seger sings it would be
“Turn the Page”. He wrote the words and then instructed Alto Reed to blow his horn and make the music! Such a loss for Bob and us when Alto Reed passed away. He was Bob’s best friend! #2 song is Against the Wind which I love listening to when I ride my Harley Davidson. Bob Seger has a Harley and still rides it up on the back stage of his concerts! Yes!! Did you know that Bob Seger wrote the words to Turn the Page in 1972 and he then turned to Alto Reed and told him to blow his horn and make the music for Turn the Page. Alto Reed was Bob’s best friend and Bob was devastated when Alto passed away in 2020. Such an incredible loss!

My wife & I saw him 11/8/06 in Grand Rapids, Mi. He rocked. 12K seats sold out in 4 minutes. His new songs sounded great. The best thing about Bob is that he sings his songs from the heart and doesn't care what people think about him (he showed up on stage in a black t-shirt & blue jeans) It was a great show, I doubt if anybody was disappointed. He did comment though" Man, I sure feel 61 years old" towards the end of the show. Bob's always been one of my favorites, always will be.

March 2011) i miss you every day our sons (one daughter in law) family and friends miss you .You made a impact where ever you went you were so full of life .and life is so cruel at times . I had the pleasure of being in the studio with his drummer awhile back. You learn a lot about an artist by those who worked for him. I gained more respect for Bob than any artist I know by the stories shared. Old or not, he's still the man.
