Zebulun Paul Cummings The way to overcome the diabolical unfairness of the game is to realize that learning BP is paramount. Sure you will lose your base but it isn’t hard to bounce back. The blue print can’t be lost and allows you to craft higher tier items.

It is now the 11th of January 2021 , Rust has become more popular than ever and my excitement has been elevated to new extremes i have never felt for a game release before.
I helped a guy starting out and gave him recorses to build a base next to me so i cud protect him, and gave him an ak and some other stuff. Just to find him dead inside my base by a shotgun trap when he tryed raided me when i was out farming. Hillarius game for real!!

Facepunch isnt doing the port, double eleven is. And they are 100% sure it will be out in 2021, and 50% sure it will be done in the first half of this year. The game has an esrb rating so it is pretty close to complete (to get a rating the game has to be sent off to the esrb to be tested).

It will run faaaar better on console. Look at PUBG. Absolute nightmare to play on PC, gets remade on console and works like a dream. Double eleven (the team doing the port) put out a tweet in early december that this game will be out 100% in 2021. And they are about 50% sure it will be out in the first half of the year. The game has a M for mature ESRB rating already so its pretty close to release by the looks of it.
Once joined a group for about 3 hours, to only have set them up the whole time to die in an ambush with most of their good loot on them. Was great hearing the last survivor tell me "Im going to never come back to this server" as we tossed him a revolver with a single bullet in it to defend himself with. To only shot him in the head as soon as the gun was picked up. This was in my fist 100 hours of playing this game on PC. I cant wait to see how this turns out.
Rust is a surviving game where every just smallest inprecise aim or jump can end your all 10 hours career, and i honestly dont know how on such inprecise controllers you can play this game which isn't even on pc easy to play
Yeah until you realize that Facepunch has nothing to do with the console edition other than the name. Console edition is trash and is gonna be limited because of console restrictions. We'll be lucky to see a minicopter.
If anyone's looking for an alternative on the console, while waiting for this, I HIGHLY recommend The Forest. A super fun survival game, and runs better than Ark....WAYYYY better.

Ive got 3,000 hours on rust and roughly 20,000 hours gaming experience. This is by far the most diverse action packed addictive experience you will ever get. Give them game atleast 300 hours of time practice find good players or friends you enjoy playing with... you will often catch yourself playing for days without flinching.

Rust also has PVE servers. Also PVE servers with limited pvp. The PVE servers will have zombies and npc's. There are also build servers where you can get in god mode and spawn any item. There are aim training and raid servers. Heli pilot training servers. Role playing servers. Modded servers where you get many times the resources and loots. Half the fun of the game is the random interactions with people you meet. There are WIPES where all the game progress starts over. At least one on the first Thursday of the month. But also bi-weekly or weekly wipes too. Lot's of folks use Discord to voice chat in game, but the game has a voice chat too. There are toxic people in the game, but that's life. There are tons of Rust game-play videos out there for people to familiarize themselves with the game. I have 1500 hours and it's like a drug habit.
You guys are failing your community at this point. It’s been 9 months and you haven’t spoken a word or even a whisper as to what stage this game is at. This game is coming for current gen consoles yet by the time it comes out people will have their hands on the next gen. As of this point I hope it’s taking so long because you’re porting it to next gen because if not it’s going to be a waste of time and money on your part.

The voice chat will be filled with toxic, squeaker 12 year olds who call you a cheater for being better than them and their terrible 4-man clan.
Rust also has PVE servers. Also PVE servers with limited pvp. The PVE servers will have zombies and npc's. There are also build servers where you can get in god mode and spawn any item. There are aim training and raid servers. Heli pilot training servers. Role playing servers. Modded servers where you get many times the resources and loots. Half the fun of the game is the random interactions with people you meet. There are WIPES where all the game progress starts over. At least one on the first Thursday of the month. But also bi-weekly or weekly wipes too. Lot's of folks use Discord to voice chat in game, but the game has a voice chat too. There are toxic people in the game, but that's life. There are tons of Rust game-play videos out there for people to familiarize themselves with the game. I have 1500 hours and it's like a drug habit.

You guys are failing your community at this point. It’s been 9 months and you haven’t spoken a word or even a whisper as to what stage this game is at. This game is coming for current gen consoles yet by the time it comes out people will have their hands on the next gen. As of this point I hope it’s taking so long because you’re porting it to next gen because if not it’s going to be a waste of time and money on your part.
