Finally, this raw system is Rust at it's peak in my eyes. This is quite close to what the game was back in 2016, they haven't been able to emulate the same feeling ever since. No mapping, no team shinanigans, dedication, and full concentration.
Wouldn't call myself a hard core rust player. But this definitely seems like the sort of thing I would play. As an exclusively solo player, the group removal, and overall difficulty of running a team makes it seem easier to roam, I feel like hardcore will really create its own set of players unlike any other game type
pretty sure its just mocap. if its not, cool, but mocap stuff is becoming really good and accessible. ai mocap is even becoming a thing, where suits arent necessary. its not very effective yet, though
Yeah i would really want to see new animations more than anything else. The current ones are outdated and look goofy at times. The only good thing about them is how much laugh they brought me when i was spectating players as a mod.

Thank you so much FacePunch this is the closest to original "Rust" we have been in a long time and its missed by many. Should really help solo players aswell. I still miss the days of Hangar bases and the single deployable shack nothing more scary than slapping one down hiding inside as a 40 man zerg swarms it with hatchets then stops to get an airdrop leaving you in dead silence and fear.
I think its a direct nerf to large groups, you cant really keep track of your teammates if you roaming more than a 4 man and dont have the same colour fits.
@@alexwindy3 fair, we dont have a vital or large pop in my region so we never had massive groups back in 2017/2018. I was in a one of the biggest groups on our largest server and we were a 7 man.
This is good, eliminates those no life players from having 10 bases all over the map. Limited spawn points is excellent. This will make you choose more specifically what monuments you want to farm. Only issue that sticks out, the harder you make a game the more it will encourage people to use cheats. If this is to be successful Rust needs a BETTER Anti Cheat detection system.

Ёбаные нюфаги. Раньше в игре длительное время не было ни карты, ни системы кланов, а чертежи вайпали каждый месяц. И игралось всем весело и с интересом, сейчас будет так-же, мамкины комбатеры 10-0 будут все так же играть на говномодах с х5
I hope this gamemode gets good playercount on servers cause all these changes is just how Rust once was lmao. Part of the reason I stopped playing was because of shit like the team system, map hotkey etc. became less and less of a survival game. I like those additions, I'm not someone to hate and complain about everything, they're good additions, but I think those things should have been a separate "Easy" mode, not changing the core game and then making what Rust once was a separate mode.
if there's a lot of persons like you wishing that this should be the default then most likely those servers will be populated. if not, then sadly "we" are not the majority. let others enjoy the game at their own taste.

No chat, people actually have to roam the map to find stuff instead of camping monuments and safe zones, group zerg gets a nerf with no team UI...I dont see any downsides. Will be lots of solo's and a few duo/trios, the way Rust was probably meant to be played.
*Removing the possibility of storing random loot in large furnaces is bad. The QoL is good. I wish you were able to add the QoL without removing the loot storage capability.*

My brother ( who has passed away) used to play Rust a lot. I'm not a Rust player but I follow this page only because I miss him sometimes. Maybe I'll join the game one day after gaining some strength.
There should be a Tier 4 workbench as an update, adding gun mount module to vehicles and what not, and a secondary lift for a heavier type of vehicle, you know.... The kind that can fight :)

Just started a hardcore wipe. This is tons of fun. You should disable tech tree as well though.
