You know growing up I thought I was a compulsive liar and couldn't understand why I couldn't be honest about myself. While part of it was misinterpretation of what being "myself" meant, the other part was facing the crisis of identity. Do I work on certain parts of myself to become that label? I just wanna say (on the topic of chameleon..ing..) I learned WAY later in life that I involuntarily mirror the people I'm around, their habits, their personalities, etc. A lot of times I don't even realize I'm doing it, too. So I can definitely related to feeling lost in explanation of one's identity and sense of self. I'm glad you're able to untangle the web though, it's so incredibly freeing to truly get to know yourself!
I don't even know at this point if your acting is more funny or the editing and your sarcastic laugh always gets me like- listening to this also made me rethink and realise a lot of things and ofc i don't overthink

I’ve found that I hate to conform to any labels now. I’m an individual who is creative unique, constantly learning and growing and changing. I don’t like people trying to box me into labels, like you have to be a certain way.

I've always wondered what sort of word or phrase to attach this behavior that I grew up with-"code switching"! Thank you for talking about your past experiences; it's something I can very much relate to, particularly back in middle school, where kids were even meaner ;_; love your Instagram posts too!

I definitely agree that it's not fake! For so many people I know code-switching is the only way to live in certain spaces without constant, overt conflict. Like, how are you gonna call someone fake for that?

Totally get u. Being different in different countries. I think it kinda gives a freedom to try new things, styles, be different. And find out what u like and don't like about yourself and the way you behave.
