Thanks for getting in touch. In my powerpoint i already have some audio slides when i have a lot to say so i pre recorded and i have some videos too so the entire presentation is a combination of me speaking live over some slides, pre recorded with the microphone icon so i just click that and my voice starts speaking and some video files with either music or words. When i tried to record the the entire presentation in powerppint with this varied content, it was fine on the slides that i gave the voceover on but the pre recorded and the video content was repeated so it recorded once but my voice as repeated in an echo as if it was trying to record the same slide twice - very odd.
Hmm... Strange. If I were you, I would use screen recording software to record my ppt. Try OBS Studio. It's free. obsproject.com.
Very good

Thanks Val. This video taught me several things and the site recommendations will certainly come in handy. You sound just like me--hoarse from (as my doctor told me) talking too much, too long, and too loud! Tea and honey help. I hope you feel better. Thanks again and keep the videos coming. Many many thanks!
hello, i can record my powerpoint presentation but it isn't working with pre recorded slides i have in the presentation or video content - please can you advise if this is possible?
Hi Angela! Hmm... I need to see some screenshots to understand what the issue is.
Hello, I enjoyed your video. I am someone who don't like how my voice sound when I have to record something. So, your video is very helpfull for a slide presentation I have in a contemporary technology class.
I, have one question thought. I want to add a animation to my video. So when my professor hit the first slide would she have to click on each slide to hear the text to speech. Or will it automatically start speaking?
Glad to hear it, Gwendolyn! I don't like my voice, either, but I have learned to accept it. 😂
If you wish for audio to play automatically on each slide, follow these steps: left-click on the audio clip icon on the slide, click "Playback" in the tab ribbon, then select "Start --> Automatically." You may also want to enable "Hide During Show" to ensure that the audio clip icon is not visible during the presentation.
@@Teacher-Val thank you, I will hear my voice on my voicemail and my voice sounds sqeaky
