  • On this video you will see the steps required to install a PowerTrax Lock Right Locker in the rear differential of a Suzuki Vitara 1.6 8V (Tracker / Sidekick).
Lock Right Lockers are known to be a budget solution for differential locking since they do not require the compressed air circuit.
The Powertrax Lock Right Locker (1512-LR) uses almost all the differential stock components (despite the spider gears) and could be installed at home as you can see on this video. The Powertrax Lock Right Locker can be acquired in Amazon for about 280USD plus shipping fees. You can just search for “Powertrax 1512-LR Lock-Right” in Amazon website.
Please note that I have no background in automotive repairs, and the videos that I present in this channel are the result of on-line searching and autonomous learning on how to do stuffs. Therefore, the methods employed might not be professional enough for you.

Thanks using the video now as i do my 96 tacker!. Got one question, the stock thrust washers that go on each side of the stock gears did you used them? There is a thick and thin on each side in mine. Only was able to fit one.

I don’t remember exactly sorry, but I think mines were equal. But the only thing that I did not reuse was the spider gears and their washers.

What do you mean with "play on my Wheels"? Back and forward? If yes I think it’s normal, it is the gap between the locker teeth “amplified” by the wheel diameter.
