This is why i like you more than other "GTA youtubers", you don't just put a misleading title to bait in the clicks or play the same old ramp races, but you actually do some honest hard work yourself by making these... spreadsheets...
I really hope that R* sees how much of an effort you make to do these videos and to show us how the stats on the lobby screen don't show everything.

I really appreciate all the work you put in on the spreadsheet Broughy! Between 50 percent braking on some cars to a new found respect for braking with/without a spoiler, I have learned a lot more from this video. Keep up the great work you do on these videos!

Spreadsheet - ugh, it's amazing how much work you put in this, really.
One really minor aspect I would like to mention (as I used to call myself an Ecxel-artist) is that the one thing the old spreadsheet did well was the use of different background colors for the different classes. I know it's really just a mattter of taste and style but for me, it always makes such a huge sheet better readable, even if you did a great job in formatting the dividers for the classes in a different way.

24:25 I noticed this during the Slamming Vans event quite a while back. Nice to see a full explaination of why this is happening. I also notice the same effect for all cars in the rain. Optimally I use about 75-80% braking in wet condidions because you can really hear the brakes lock up.

I actually noticed the spreadsheet(!) was updated, last night or perhaps this morning (I forget when I noticed this), before this video was posted.
Great work.
This video shows one more reason why the T20 is completely broken on the PS3, as the traction loss not only hurts it in the corners, but on acceleration coming out of corners, and the braking points going into them.
I am still very upset about this. I really hope Rockstar can fix this. I am still not even sure they know about it. They definitely haven't actually acknowledged it, they just said they will look into it. :/

Thanks for all this work you done. I don't race often but your circuit testing and top speed testing is still useful for making purchase decisions (not the only part of the decisions though).
Better yet, it appeals to the part of me that must know how everything works and is determined. I really want the formulas for Top Speed, Acceleration, and Breaking. Then when updates are released, details about the new vehicles can be immediately determined.

watched it to the end, cause its soooo interesting how complex the whole drive mechanics are.
I feel like I can use this info to get great cars in the game. Also, I would never have thought that the spoilers would have such an impact on a car's performance (wasn't that into cars until recently). I will keep this video as a bookmark in case I fall out of line of what I was planning to do with this info. I will view the "spreadsheet"(s) at another time, hoping that I'll still be interested in this game (busy with school and what-not). Thanks for all of your work and i hope you have a good life.

Cheers dude, appreciate the time you put into this. I'd really like to find out exactly the role that each of these stats plays into the car's performance. I want to know the effect drag has and exactly how much changing it would change the actual top speed... what impact it has uphill vs downhill vs flat, etc.

Good to see you taking over the 'spreadsheet', and it did feel a bit like a nature ramble from time to time. The struggle for the right word is real. I had a good look, but couldn't spot the spoiler on the coquette - something to look for in-game, I guess. Tyre stats occurred, just wondering if there's a similar base table for them, but also next level is the driving surface, eh? Tarmac, gravel, dirt, rain, snow, and all the graduations in between (tried driving a race car on wet grass, for example??)

I actually probably wouldn't even still be playing the game. Cuz I would have gotten bored with dumb races like jumps jumps jumps and I wouldn't know the potential that this game has for racing.

Definitely would like to thank you for all the work and time you invest in providing this for everyone. It really is very useful. The spreadsheet (:D) is just very, very useful as reference, and it is nice to see a more visually appealing one to look at now and just easier to use. I never much liked the harsh colors used for each class in particular so, glad that's done away with.
This sort of stuff is kind of amusing to think about though, because what goes into how a car performs in this game is fairly complex, so it's odd the game was designed in a way to almost hide this fact and pretend vehicle stats are so simple. You'd think they'd actually boast about it a little and be like yeah, cars are complex in our game. Iunno, just kinda weird to put this much thought into it, but then obscure it.

Impressive spreadsheet. This is really informative and helpful knowledge. I will be posting on the GTA online GameFAQs board. There are a few people trying to talk bs and say your just another mindless youtuber that doesn't have his facts, code knowledge, and/or race skill. They do this despite the majority of us being supportive and referring to your videos for proof that things are the way they are in GTA.
