From Hacking $4.1 Million to Prison | The IRL Money Doubler

- Today we explore the story of Graham Ivan Clark, the teen responsible for 2020's infamous Twitter hack which made him $117,000 USD, pennies to a teenager, who at the time of his arrest, was found with over $3,000,000 USD.
The story starts in his early days, where we explore how he stole thousands of dollars from Minecraft players through his CZcams channel under the alias “Open” where he posted hardcore factions trapping montages. Then, how he moved on from that, into stealing millions of dollars in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from tech investors through alleged SIM Swapping attacks which he liked learned about from members on the notorious hacking forum OGUsers.
Graham was no ghost though and his antics eventually caught up with him in the form of the secret service. He faced a criminal investigation for the theft of over a million dollars, but amazingly prosecutors ended up declining to charge Graham.
It seems Graham felt like he could get away with anything, as long as he did it before he turned 18, and this is when he got greedy and committed his final scam against Twitter.

I spent 96 hours making this, enjoy! - Zábava
After 6 years, I’m posting my first non-runescape video!
This still fits the cybercrime theme of my channel, so I’m really excited to see how people react to it.
I’ve been meaning to do this video for a while now. If it does well, I might make a few more like it between my normal RS content!
Love you guys.
Perfect timing i needed something to watch to finish off work today:)
Always love your lay outs and style, makes it a good watch for sure. Keep up the work expanding your random knowledge 😂
@crumb Doubling money scams will always be runescape-related at its core

i loved this, i follow other people like someordinarygamers and coffeezilla who do similar stuff to this, i really hope we get to see more!

That's so sad and tragic man.
Very tragic if they hit him with the book, at 19, adult life hasn't even really started

I doubt he will get 45 years, and he shouldn’t
I legitimately feel bad for Mason.
He was clearly unaware of the full situation and never knew what was actually happening.
They are considering EXTRADITING him and locking him up for 45 YEARS.
All because someone manipulated him on discord.
While the person who did it gets 6 years.
At MOST he should get 1 year in a prison within the UK.

out of the loop here, why tf is he being sent to America to face jail there? isn’t he a British citizen? how is this legal?
@@Nickel_Eye
The US and the UK have a little something called an "extradition agreement".
So essentially if the UK wants to arrest a criminal in the US the US will arrest that criminal and send them to the UK and vice versa.
Due to the US being one of the most bloodthirsty countries when it comes to locking up criminals this leads to people like Julian Assange or Mason being sent to the US to serve lengthy sentences.
This is downright unethical but the UK cannot do anything about it due to this "extradition agreement.

Letting people off with serious charges isn't giving them a second chance, it's helping them to continue their behavior.
no it's stupid to give these guys 210 years, maybe not Graham because he actually didn't hack anything,he just scammed, but actually good teen hackers should be given 6 years probation and a choice 200 more years or to work for security services.
Russia and China does this, you will never hear of a Russian kid going to jail over this(Russia actually has a law where max sentence is 20 years unless you killed or raped someone, then it's till death),they all end up working for the gov, they don't even jail these hackers in China, they work with them, why does America waste these kids lives if they can reeducate them and give them a good future and a career? Majority of hackers aren't even hacking for money, they are just curious.
Americans don't realize that their jail system is the most oppressive, for instance a Russian fsb secret service gave nuclear data to MI6 and served 6 years and was traded and lives in London now. This guy gave away secret nuclear reaction data that endangered all the world and got 6 years. Assange for releasing US soldier secret videotapes gets 300 years. what's weird to me is that when I was way younger, I was a manager of a reasonably large account cracking server. I made a copy of said server with the same template, in case we were nuked (channels, databases, roles all ruined beyond repair)
some of the admins were in that backup server and, after the owner was exposed for gathering blackmail material against notable server members, they held a riot against him, ending with telling all of the members to join the backup. I slept through all of this and woke up to a 300 member backup server full of people pinging me to change the name of the server and establish rules and stuff.
I ended up just doing what the previous server did on a smaller and less illegal scale. our dev made RAT (remote access trojan) tools for use on targets, I made marketplaces for trading stolen online accounts and pastes. I didn't make that much money, it sort of just served as a place for other people to sell cracks without fees and report people who charged back or retook accounts.
scary to think how close I was to falling down the same cybercrime rabbithole. I sort of just poked at it a few times. A petty discord drama could have made me a basement dweller.

Crazy to see how he progressed from 14 y/o to now, and how close to doing, or that I was doing the exact same things but we’re vastly differently.
as someone who went from minecraft hacking to being in a discord org for social engineering which shortly had the owner spied on then arrested
the 'I just want free MC accounts' minecraft hacking pipeline to becoming an actual criminal is dangerously easy to step across
I’m a bit late, but as someone who used to be in the pvp and hcf mc community around 2016, i can say you explained very well how it works, and it was a niche community at the time. So good job and good video!
This guy should have spent an easy 30 years in jail. He proved that he'd keep doing it.... instead of that he got a free place to live, free education, and millions for his graduation.
Quit hating on my nigga
Yea I can't believe he gets to keep the $3 million he prolly won't learn or regret shit 😂
@@rezkillz7409 ong niggas be hating
Get got 12 mil waiting for him at home. My dawg.
Yeah I think a lot of people would take that deal in a heartbeat, that Bitcoin is going to be worth 20 mil when he gets out
Your so good at telling stories bro ❤
i started off uninterested and im about to leave very entertained. well made. happy new years 🤙🎉
Cheers g
Great video crumb, surprised I wasn't already subscribed. I find it interesting to see how much overlap online game scammers have with the real world counterparts.
This is very well done. I'm glad to see you getting into these genres and doing a brilliant job. Keep em up. This should become your primary focus.
Idky but I didn’t want the vid to end , this was good thankyou I was having a rough boring day and this made me feel that dopamine
:) this comment gave me dopamine Ty friend
the fact that a normal person almost never gets the opportunity to earn 12 milion and he only has to spend 6 years for it is crazy imo.
I got sad when it ended XD I really liked it so much, your voice and the information made it easy to listen. I hope you make more of this type! I wish I could add Swedish subtitles to show my mom
30:53 They forgot to charge him for domestic abuse for callin' his girlfriend porky.

This video is great. Do more stuff like this for sure. I have 0 ties to runescape, but this found me.
Damn now he’s out rich asf
Dude this was so well done Netflix would have done a mini series on this
Sure if this kid was worth putting on netflix... 99% of people connecting to the internet doesn't even know this kid or this story exist. We all will forget in a year or less.
@@stuart3712 Netflix has done plenty of other documentaries about kids just like this one. Like the one about the kid who made millions selling drugs online from his bedroom in his parents house
@@rileyxbell how you can sell drugs online is the name. It’s a German series
kid doesn’t deserve a series and it’ll only ego boost him
@@rileyxbell you think that was real?
This is a very well made documentary. Well done! Keep up the good work.
I love how back in the Minecraft section, whenever he yelled, it was always in a whisper. Someone didn't want to wake up their parents lol
Wow! Amazing job!
And what a story!
He got off so easy.
As an osrs and former hcf player, this was a great watch, There’s still a lot of people into scamming in the HCF community to this day it’s extremely toxic
