you know, if you think about it for a few seconds, there are probably several hundred thousand relationships out there just like this. grew up playing star wars with each other, got married playing star wars with each other.
Better romance than Rise of Skywalker
I'm legitimately saddened by the recent affairs of this game, more than I'm angered. When I was a child, I would dream about a future where video games look and sound the way they do now. Although the original battlefront was a great game, it was still a compromise in terms of visuals. Not to say it was bad--it's only recently that 3d rendering really began to look the way it does now--but It didn't look exactly like the movies and I knew that.
Now there's a game that looks like star wars, sounds like star wars, and plays decently (I presume). This should have been my childhood dream come true, but EA's business practices are stopping me from appreciating the work of art that is the new battlefronts.
The chemistry and sexual tension between these two is more believable than anything shown by Rey and Kylo Ren in 2 movies.

Imagine being a multi billion (probably) dollar company and not being able to create a justifiable character arc within the span of three 2 hr long movies. Then there's a multimillion dollar game studio with a team so creative they can create a story arc better than the entire sequel trilogy in the span of 2 minutes WITHOUT ANY VOICELINES SAID BY THE MAIN CHARACTERS!

Like, it would make sense if the developers didn't take any feedback into account/ignored people's complaints and left the game stagnant from alpha, but they've already pulled back and made the cost to unlock heroes 75% cheaper, removed the best star cards from the loot crates, and made season passes free. The game has post-launch income, but the best part is that it's optional as opposed to mandatory. You pay the $60, and you are set for the entire 2-3 years as opposed to destiny who had several releases ($60 for vanilla, $35 for the expansion pass, $40 for taken king, and rise of iron for $30. Making it a total of $165 just to play destiny for 3 years. I'd rather have free content ala overwatch as opposed to spending more than double the cost). There are leaked files of General Grievous, clone squadron armor skins, and repeated talks of future additions like droidekas. They've increased the amount of content to make the best 2015 Battlefront cry in a corner. DICE is getting good feedback, and implementing it. I still don't get the hate. I'm going to wait on the game as it's only fair to see where things go, but the communications have been active and on-going and credit should be given when credit is due. Applaud the good in the world instead of whining on it.
If you have a child that is that devoted to the bad guys, get her checked out. That's a sociopath waiting to happen.
This may be one of those rare times where partnering your console with a games advertising is actually a bad move.
Fun fact: That girl spent $300 to get that gun, and that guy spent $200 for that slide ability, plus he wasted like 10 hours of gameplay to rank up so he could upgrade it. Bamboozeled.
