  • Here is the 2022 BMW M4 Competition XDrive. In this video i review the 2022 BMW M4 Competition XDrive and see just how good it is. The BMW M4 comp xdrive is 3 cars in one and delivers blisteringly quick acceleration thanks to the 4 wheel drive platform. the 2022 BMW M4 Competition XDrive really is a brilliant car for all year round particularly here in the UK!

Nice review. I own a g80 xdrive m3 since October 21. I was never 1000 percent sold on the looks, but after 1 minute of ownership that went out the window the car is savage. I’ve had a 2014 m135 and 2018 m2 lci both from brand new. Brilliant cars but I would never go back to rwd. They aren’t made for the weather we get. For how much fun they were unless they are tracked you can never push them , and when your m2’s backend does the Macarena on the way to work every other day it gets tiring! Xdrive has to be the way forward. However I am hearing the new m2 won’t be !!

There is prolly a few mpg at most as an advantage of rwd, and that is about it. The limited slip system does seem to get no complaints in sudden downfall of snow, as long as there is space between front lip and pavement.
Not sure why someone would bother with any "supercar" when these are in existence, with real rear seats...just gotta move the steering and pedals over about 3'.

BMW nailed the aspect of the car "being great at everything".
It is indeed a insanely good car.
With that said and the point we arrived with perfection the M cars lost their character.
MT/RWD somehow contains it but also there a little bit of something is missing...
And the ZF over the DCT has done the rest. Its fast I know, but with absoloutely no character at all.
On the Giulia I can forgive, they never actually used a DCT and the Car gets a character from other aspects and not the gearbox, but on the BMW the gearbox was a big part of that character.
It's just lacking it, and boring....lightning fast, but boring. :(

    Fantastically capable machine.
Unfortunately not fun, very ugly, and way too expensive.
The fact @ 3:11 you can launch the car flat out from standstill, with one hand on the steering wheel, just says everything I need to know. Absolutely amazing performance which requires zero skill, thus any footballer's wife can launch it from every traffic light, while still applying her lippy. No thanks, I'd rather have a car which demands concentration, and skill, because that is what driving pleasure is about.

@@thaalrasha I hear what you are saying, and it's correct matey, I guess you almost have the best of all worlds.
Except you cannot do anything about it's ugliness (unless you have evolve's new front end fitted), and you can't do anything about the extra weight of the Xdrive system, and as good as it is, the price is ridiculous for most normal people, for a sporting coupe based on a saloon.
      It's not a 911 :-))
It is insanely fast, but it does not have the character of a real M car, in my opinion, the only car which does currently is the M2C (well did, they are about to ruin that with Xdrive too).
Manufacturers seem to be obsessed with 0-60 times, instead of producing cars which are fun.
