Dam those trucks can move, I'm only just getting into pumping but this video was very informative. Thanks mate!

My surf skates really open up with a full kicktail and a foot behind the rear trucks.

Sounds like running high (ex. +10mm) positive rake with a high-rebound resistance (especially towards the end of lean - aka. fat cone) is the perfect combo to me.

It is absolutely wild how much articulation you are squeezing out of those Rojas! This video was very enlightening. I've been thinking about rake a lot recently and felt like I was slowly loosing my mind.

Hi, have you tried the positive rake on higher speeds? Maybe, that's why surfskates having negative rake. Thanks a lot for your videos.

Right, they would be unstable at speed because of the lack of caster effect.

@@klawrence1yt That's it, I think rake and caster are almost synonyms, since negative rake increases the stability by "pulling" the wheels instead of pushing, it seems that front truck may be pulling the wheels, while the back truck is pushing them (or vice-versa), I've seen some back trucks with smaller angles to gain stability, but the skate loses agility... this is an amazing subject to discuss.
