  • We are proud to announce our latest truck, the Caliber III! After 5 years of research and development the results are our strongest and most customizable trucks to date. Updated to satisfy the modern skater with optional rake, the ability to use any bushing size, stock urethane pivot cups, stock Venom bushings, increased strength and a budget friendly price tag. Our world class team of skaters have taken our prototypes to hell and back, and we never stopped improving the Caliber III until everyone was satisfied. Enjoy!

really cool, love the new features ...
Ryan: 10" 44° raked for "fast freeride and going through turns stand-up [..] going fast"
Patrick: 9" 44° raked for "downhill and faster freeride [..] lean, I love the lean"
Tom: 10" 44° negative rake for "low [..] most stable version, slides easy to break out into [..] for a fast freeride board"
Tristan: 9" 44° rakeless for "faster freeride [..] turns more consistently"
Liam: 10" 44° rakeless for "most stable, consistent for me [..] gives you more stability than a truck with rake in it"

*Bushing seat is Wider on Raked version, Rakeless has the same/similar bushing seat to previous version.*
Important thing that specs don't mention on most sites, it affects ride feel and what bushings you may want to use.

I got a Comet Ethos 38 back in 2012 or '13 with Caliber 2s. It never felt right skating the shorter (for me) 24" wheelbase. This year I decided to finally try the narrower truck life picked up a set of the 9" Caliber 3s raked to throw on the old board. WOW.... Cal3s are probably the best cast truck you can buy, honestly probably trading punches with precisions. The plug bushing adds some serious stability and control.
My main setup is 47* k5s on a larger 27" wb single kick. Skated the same setup for like 6 years now. However this new 24" WB board that I've never really enjoyed skating is quickly becoming my main. Really think the Calibers unlocked it's true potential. I'm excited to try more 22 - 25" WB boards since the 9" Cal 3r just feel so amazing on them.
Good job making an amazing product that's getting me hyped to skate again.

Love my Caliber IIIs! I've been running the 10" 44 degree, raked Caliber IIs and these trucks are all that and more. Being able to pull the shim for taller bushings is huge, as I like the big greens in the back. Still experimenting with different rake settings. I like the adjustability. More tools in the 'handling adjustment tool box' in a sense. 😁

I looked at the like number and was sad that it was so low compared to how things used to be from 2011-2016. I saw Liam Morgan and was astonished at how someone who came into the spotlight when still young and in high school has grown up so much (started to feel old cuz of that). The minute he said "Owner of Caliber Trucks" my jaw hit the friken floor.
When and how did that happen?
Also, great improvements to the trucks. I gotta get a new set now.

The rake really does add a feeling of flow and helps with connecting carves and being able to carve harder and deeper, it will feel like your style is improving if you've never used a rake truck before.

positive rake = more turn, surfy feeling, negative rake = low ride height, stability, and less turn. you can get either by flipping the hanger on the Cal III R.

It's the opposite of positive rake. instead of more turn and surfy feel you get less turn, more lean, and more stability. it also lowers the ride height.

@@skatebloodorange9439 Nice👍 I really like how you explained that. Very helpful. Could you please also describe the Rakeless version of Cal 3 (or Cal 2) in the way you described negative & positive rake like turn, lean, surfy, stability, fast, slow, height etc. It will help me decide whether to get the raked or rakeless Cal. I'm particularly interested in learning to pump to propel.
