Just goes to show you can’t judge a book by its cover. I might not have upgraded to the large machines and surface cleaners yet, but I’ve never left something looking like that. It takes me longer to do the job, but I’ve never had a callback! Just lots of repeat clients

Yep, nothing wrong with smaller equipment, but you cant tell this person didnt care or didnt know what they were doing. Its sad that we have to be compared to companies like this, when people are comparing quotes.

    I would’ve made that look better with a 2.3gpm.

Lines and swirl marks, are mostly from none treatment and going to fast. Choppy swirl lines means they are moving to fast, not really slow. Smh. Faster you move more swirl lines you get, and all that is from them being in a rush. That's what you call in and out an now pay me services. I see this in my area as well, and it's called I'm cheap and pay me service.
Parallel lines are not from one side being high pressure and other side low pressure from a surface cleaner. Smh ... Surface cleaner puts out the same amount of equal pressure and gpm on equal sides, unless the tips are wore out or one clogged. I can do the same work as you that you brag about, with a 3 gpm 16" surface cleaner, vs your 16 gpm and 4 ft wide surface cleaner. All that mean you can cover a larger area faster then a 3gpm and 16" surface cleaner..
Fact is just because you can doesn't mean that person or business will pick you, 95% they'll pick and choose who cheaper and that's what they get.. it's not all about your equipment or size of equipment or how shiny your equipment is or how many gallon per minute, or how wide your surface cleaner is, it's about how you sell yourself as a business service to another business or customer and having the proper knowledge and experience, to be able to do a job correctly...

Yes you can do quality work with smaller equipment. We started off with dewalt pull around and did great work. It would just take for ever to do the same amount of work that we can do now. The faster I can complete a job means I can get to my next job that much faster. Way more efficient to have larger and better equipment.

    WOW what a crap job.

I am insured, 5 star rating. Made over 25k this October. (Bleesings) my surface cleaner started recently doing this. 20 inch simpson 4gpm and trust me, I ain't lazy. I outwork almost everybody and hustle my ass. My surface cleaner maybe is going bad. And yes totally agree alot of people use fake photos. When I left those marks they were lighter than that, I pre-treat, and post treat. Also have a trailer mounted over 13k. I repeated Goin over and over taking marks off..I use 12.5 sh not laziness, maybe machine failure. Either way mine didn't look this bad

Yes there are chems to help. I try to stay away from chems and just try to go over a couple of times if needed.

Hello, I have a parking lot striping business I’m just getting off the ground. Wanting to start trying to pick up the surface cleaning on these jobs. I have a 4 gal 4000 psi hot water pressure washer a 275 gal IBC tote . Looking for advice on a surface cleaner that’s compatible with it.
And if not using the hot water would it make much difference on the surface clean.
I don’t wanna take this on if I can’t do the job correctly with what I have. I’d rather get what’s needed vs doing a bad job. I use it for line cleaning and dumpers pad cleaning. With just a wand . Thanks for any advice I’m in the northern Memphis Tn . area.

Hey, hot water definitely helps. Your equipment will work but you will not want to be doing larger jobs with that setup. I would recommend 16” surface cleaner with that size of pressure washer. When you are able to I would recommend upgrading to at least an 8gpm with hot water. At that point you can do the mini mondo. If you got to 10 or 12gpm you can do the mondo. You can also keep the 4gpm and buy an 8 gpm and Siamese the two together and get 12gpm off that. You will want to make sure they both have the same unloaders. I just finished a parking garage and when not using the hot water you could see lines from surface cleaner and I believe that’s because the heavy traffic of cars and rubber from tires coming off on concrete and hot water lifted it was easier than cold water. I also recommend hot water for grease stain removal.

@@vickerspressurewashco.890 thanks for the advice and your time. This is a father daughter business and the 16 “ on smaller job would be a great start for us. Doing good quality work with the equipment we have is more important at this time. Then as you said we can grow into bigger jobs. Looking forward to your other videos 👍🏻

No professional would do this... I don't care how weak the equipment is. You can get it perfect with a small unit and low psi too if you actually look at what you're doing. This seems like maybe a homeowner tried winging it and didn't like how slow it was going and just gave up halfway thru and tried to speed run the rest.
