We got absolutely cooked tactically. They let Alisson have all of the ball and we just did not know how to respond to that. We also took way too long on the ball in those transition moments. Shocking performance again
Thats what I saw too. Atalanta went man for man such that there was no free man when Alisson had the ball. It seems Jurgen Klopp has always struggled tactically against a 3-4-3 formation

I'm not even sad about Klopp leaving now. He just smiles if we concede. Just ready for new kit, new manager new players and new start.
Nothing wrong with this. We've had some big big loses and off seasons too under klopp. A restart will help if we get a competitive new manager and most importantly... splash some serious cash

Disgraceful performance, no notes Taken from the Palace defeat. The side -way passing at the back isn't cutting it.
We dont create from open play, we are now so predictable under Kkopp. Time is right for a new manager
not just sideways passing, each player sitting on the ball for about 10seconds before passing

It’s great when you are 3-0 up on aggregate - not so much when you need 4 (FOUR) to go through.
We lack killers in the team, the coach is more concerned about building ladting relationships!!! Pep, ancoliti are more ruthless and play to win without concern as to whose feelings might get hurt in the process! Klopp has clearly no plan B and shows no passion the touchline now. Next season a young manager in Amorim will bring much needed freshness to this whole team and the club. YNWA!
Hard one to take salahs downfall as someone who has loved this man for years is sad to see he’s go to go this summer
@@MegaVinny73he’s not as good as he was but to say he never was a great footballer is INSANE. He’s done a Ronaldo and gone for efficiency over flair. Before the first 2 seasons at Liverpool he was a skillful winger now he’s more of a numbers player

The players have really let Klopp and his staff down the last 4 weeks. I wonder if the manager leaving and the not knowing who their next boss is going to be is starting to affect the players mood and confidence. Jones has come back from injury looking very slow and can't stop loosing the ball. Dom is only good at running down the right wing and then just passes the ball to the opponent. As for the attacking players it is CRIMINAL how many chances they have missed the last 4-6 weeks.
Salah needs to go bro he's selfish doesn't pass the ball when there's another player in a better position to score no wonder why mane left
Obviously it will depend on who comes in next, but there's a lot of refreshing to do--everyone looks exhausted.
Elliott must be going crazy, the lad has been our most consistant player, Klopps style is performances full of energy and Elliott is that, When he plays for the England U21 his unreal and needs that creative freedom in our team. The only players that should be feeling some fatigue are Diaz, Endo, Mac and VVD - the rest should'nt they been on the sidelines.
Not a Liverpool fan here but do any of you think that all the English clubs look dead on their feet? I think the FA need to have a serious look at this. Too many games too many injuries. Not enough support for the clubs from their own football association.

Sorry to say, it's in a way Klopp is going. We need to start creating from midfield, something with his style we don't. Hopefully that will change with the new manager.

I cant beleive it honestly, the only goal we scored was a pen and the only other chance was the salah miss! what has happened to us if that was man city atalanta wouldn't have been out of there box for 90 mins
Trent made the difference from the fixture at Anfield in the first half but we just seemed incapable of scoring.
His passing accuracy was atrocious in the second half and so our attack suffered immensley.
Those subs were as effective as an ashtray on a motorbike.
Its annoying that we capitulate now when most of the first team is back and not in January when it was expected.
Poor end to Klopps final season.
Played that second half like we were 3-1 up. Slow methodical play with no creativity. Trent was our only hope. Well played Trent nice to see you back.

We lack physicality. Nobody marks up their opponent, we are often second best in tackles, passing too slow, too much recycling the ball , going around in circles. Our biggest problem is midfield, we need to turn on the ball and break the press, too many players passing backwards.
Honestly the premier league needs to do something about the schedule because the PL teams in EL and CL can’t compete at their best level at the quarter final stages, only if you break FFP 115 times

The year 2019 to 2020 was Liverpool's greatest season. When thay were scoring goals and blowing teams away. Now thay don't have that spark anymore. Wasn't expecting this to happen. Shocking.
The most annoying aspect as we knew they would man mark in the 2nd leg.... But we had nothing tactically to combat it!!! That 2nd half I'm hard pushed to remember us even getting in their half.... Let alone any shots!!
Allison's lack of ability with the ball at his feet killed any momentum.He may be a better keeper than Kelleher,but we never struggled to build from the back when Kelleher was in goal.

I'll be totally honest I think klopp is really good at motivating a team and the crowd alike but his tactical skills substitutions and starting lineups are bordering on AWFUL ...he never changes his formation and his tactics regarding subs is throw everyone on and hope something sticks...very amateurish!!!
If any teams sets up with 2 wingers the name of that gane is to get the ball to them quickly in 1 on 1 situations...far to slow in midfield too many insignificant touches and that is down to thr manager cos he should be all over that!!!

Klopps big money signings this year have been awful too cos Sobaslai and gravenburch are terrible and fall into a category of neither midfielder or attacker and fall woefully short in both positions...and for nearly 120 million again that falls on klopps shoulders.

We need a world class all round centre midfielder who can do everything score tackle pass to play alongside mecca ...maybe Trent could play there as he's wasted at right back and a zillion times better than Sobaslai imo.
