Guanqin GJ16058: the Guanqin Heavy, in comparison to THE Starking.

The second entry in my review series about Guanqin watches: GJ16058. This watch also comes with good specs but a less reliable movement out of factory. (stainless steel case, Saphire crystal, dg2813NN), the dial has a nice look to it, but the shape of the case and lugs especially can be a major turnoff.
I therefore will also compare the watch to the Starking AM0184, a watch with comparable specs and size, but of a slimmer build.

And alas, does the guanqin watch still work well? I bought one and am waiting for it to ship from Aliexpress, it was very cheap, I want to see how it performs.

Yes, to my knowledge it still works fine, but I haven't been wearing it much. I bought it more as a novelty, also very cheap (€18?). I found a store that was clearly getting rid of stock, because it had ludicrous prices (this one was on the more expensive end). I have been wearing other guanqin watches a lot more. So far no problems. I advise you to look at it carefully on first use though. Quality control has been quite fast and loose in my experience. I kept some 'less fortunate' watches, because the 13 or 14 Euro were not worth the hassle.
