Exactly one month ago we got the exact same Tesla. My wife and I are both 80 years old and traded a top end Prius Prime. Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks?😀

You change cars as often as i change socks! We took delivery of our new 2024 X Stealth Grey with white interior. Sold our 2021 MYP after 56k wonderful miles. The X is levels above the Y so your choice to go back to a base 3 is interesting. Enjoy!
I really want Tesla to bring back the Long Range RWD Model 3 back. Probably 350-360 miles of nameplate range and about 300 miles of real world range would be AMAZING!!!
Bye bye Plaidington. Paddington is being shipped to good will. I knew the X would not last until Halloween- Dave actually ditched it way before I thought he would. Also, Kyle had this car half the time so, Dave’s “this is the last car I need for a while” did not last very long. There is a lot of money being wasted on these car flips but it’s his life and money so enjoy.
The refresh has three huge features that make it a lot better than the 2023 one I bought just before Highland came out. Ventilated seats, better suspension, it's quieter. I'm not upset at saving $12,000 though. My out the door price was just under $30,000.
The new countdown begins. Will the M3 make it to the end of 2024?

I knew he was going to buy the new 3. You could see how much he loved it when he was in it. I’m more intrigued on what he’s going to get towards the end of this year since he eluded to that fact. Where he got the cheapest model 3 we know he’ll change it up lol. Have tons of fun Dave in your new 3! Congratulations!

I've had mine for 2 and a half months same specs fully base Model 3 and absolutely love it! my first Tesla / first EV ever.
I can't imagine giving up my 2023 Model X for a Model 3. I'm older than you, so the ease of getting in and out of the X is important. But I also really love the smooth air suspension, the quieter ride, the fantastic sound system, the automatic powered front doors, the ability to power open the doors for passengers, the extra room, the better heating and cooling, the chilled front seats, the huge front windscreen, the overall comfort, the longer range, the big tilting screen, the second screen for the driver, the arm room on the wider console, the extra space for passengers, and last but not least, the falcon wing doors. I have also owned a 3 and a Y, but the X is by far my favorite. I hope you like your car. And I hope you and Kathy have a fantastic anniversary cruise. Where are you going?
Dave is much nicer than me on the accessory side. My first X came with the home charger and a stack of adapters, nicer mats, cleaning kit, etc. I kept all these when I turned the car back in and have moved them to the replacement vehicle.
