It is a "sequel" to The Legend of Legacy on 3DS. An awesome game! You should play it if you liked the Bravely series! :)

I have the original for the 3DS, and now I have the HD Remaster Limited Edition for the Switch. I've loved this game since it's initial introduction.
If nothing else, I gotta recommend the soundtrack, the majority of which is done by Masashi Hamauzu. The track in this trailer is Rainy World, easily one of the highlights of the soundtrack.
Other highlights include Ignition, Snowy World, The Noble And The Butler (composed by his daughter, apparently at the age of 15!), and plenty more. I absolutely love this style.
If we are talking about bring 3ds games for the Switch, I have a little request: Ever Oasis.

3DS games on the switch? Add the super star saga remake and Metroid Samus returns. The 3DS games that were released after the switch came out never sold well and were really good.

Well, since switch is a hybrid system it does make sense to want both console games and handheld games on it.

Got the game on 3DS not too long ago, it's a great game but I don't think this particular trailer does it justice. There are gameplay trailers if you want to see what I'll be talking about.
This is a turn-based RPG. You create formations of 5 party members along 3 rows to fill different roles. During battle, party members can learn new arts (attacks/spells) or level up the one they're using. Characters don't level up (aside from HP and SP randomly increasing after battle) but equipment can alter their stats. There is a lot of RNG but it feels balanced to the point where you won't need to grind.
Speaking of which, the world really opens up as you progress through the story. You explore overworlds like in classic JRPGs, and enemies appear on the map rather than random encounters (if the enemy appears very large, BE PREPARED). A huge part of this game is recruiting NPCs to shops and other useful services. This is one of my favorite parts because you'll always be surprised who (and what) can be recruited. There are even a couple optional party members on top of the 9 core characters.
A few other key notes:
-You'll get a Limit Break-esque ability called Final Strike. This breaks the weapon, but all broken items are repaired when you rest at an inn.
-When someone falls in combat, their max HP goes down and continues to decrease if enemies attack them further. If someone's max HP reaches 0, it's game over. Regular HP restores after every battle, but Max HP only restores after resting.
-You can set the speed in battle to x2 or x4, and toggle Auto mode which repeats the last action. This is useful if you do decide to grind.
-There is a "?" icon on most screens with lots of useful information, but there are a few things about stats it doesn't tell you. The Focus stat does not affect "pierce damage", it affects ranged weapons. Characters have an encumbrance limit that slows them down if their equipment rate goes above Strength + Endurance.
I hope this was useful to somebody because I love this game and I think it deserves a lot more recognition than it got on its initial release!
Seeing this reminds me that I need to finish Stella Glow for the 3DS.

Rip stella glow and luminous arc. Good strat RPGS which will never see any future updated ports.
I rage quit that game after that end game difficulty spike bs, made me so mad, especially since you lose one of your best characters shortly before it so your strategy for the entire game is disrupted

I saw this 3ds game, did not know it was getting upscaled! Definitely looking into it
I played the demo and it was a really fun time and I love the premise! The only issue I had with it was that it didn't have any voice acting which could really bring more life to the game. Other than that, it's pretty decent.
I would have definitively appreciated that, but they prioritized being able to rename party members over it.
Hm... That trailer told me nothing about the gameplay or anything one would want to see from a launch trailer. A trailer like that isn't really good and won't motivate people to buy the game unless they already knew about it from the 3DS.
I haven't even watched it till the end and head straight into the comment section to see, if I'm missing any information why that game could be interesting. So far I don't see any reason why I should buy this game over other titles I'm still missing.
It’s a great classic turn based rpg. Just look up reviews for the 3DS version.

Oh wow, i didn't think it'd be out So soon. I loved this game on the 3ds and definitely recommend it to anyone that likes jrpgs. There's a demo of it on the 3ds if you're unsure if you wanna buy it or not.
I was having fun right along playing this. Then there is side stuff you can do right away once you get a full party and they amped up the difficulty for it and my whole team go one-hit. I was so salty.
the only thing that interests me with this game is that the writings were done by the person who write suikoden

I looked it up and it's apparently a 3DS exclusive game.

I think it's great that we're getting The Alliance Alive HD Remastered for PS4 & Switch.
I think I'll get it on PS4. It seems pretty good.
FYI the original developer is Cattle Call.
They only made a handful of games including:
