The lady is correct. You need to get a proper interior detailer in to do a complete deep clean. It is well worth the cost. Plus do not forget the mattress rip it out and replace it. By the look of the interior the previous driver was a real dirt bag. And there is know way |I would sleep on that mattress.

Get some Autosmart G101 cleaner spray it on, then scrub it and wipe off with damp microfibre cloth, you’ll be amazed how good it is. Good luck to you both I really admire you and well done to your lady for passing that CPC I know it’s not easy.

Don't often comment on things. Im a HGV driver and I've had the same issues with a hand me down truck. Disgusting and disappointing that people who drive these trucks live in this squalor. But once you and your wife have that truck clean and your out making a living it will all be worth the hard work you both are putting in. Good luck and hopefully I'll bump into you soon .

I’d recommend a carpet cleaner / extractor, a hoover, a drill with a brush attatchment at the front, some detailing brushes, strong air freshener

Watching what your doing is making me want my own unit apart from cleaning under the seats 😂
I would recommend using a Extractor for the back bit use a shampoo cleaner or a fabric can get in any car cleaning place or off amazon I would try the chrome fabric cleaner.
For cleaner other stuff I would recommend using chrome degreaser or any with the steamer to help get the rubbish off.
You can get detailing brushes I would recommend the soft ones for the buttons and harder ones for the harder wearing bits.
So far you both are doing great 👍

I've worked on building sites & scrap & it's hard to keep clean, but it's your home & there's no excuse for that much rubbish. Another pet hate is driver's & fitters walking all over the middle of the cab with their boots on, & on the bed with there boots & work clothes on 😡

I’ve just started doing class one work, first day was in a 17 reg Volvo which smelt like it had been chain smoked in for the last 7 years, 2nd day an immaculately kept Volvo. I know which one id rather get in again!
Good effort pal. If you Google/CZcams vehicle detailers (there’s plenty) and have a look at how they clean and detail an interior, the methods they use and some of the products it’ll make life simpler for you bud. The right right products + right tools + some know how = a good job. 👍

Sad truth about the average EU/UK trucker. Especially the older folks are just messy, filthy people. The younger ones are rather clean, that rule applies to showers too.
I'll take exception to that...I drove hgv for 25 years before being retired. I ALWAYS kept my truck clean, inside and out. Cars too. Wife always said I f I cared for my house in the same way, she could get out a lot more 😅
Auto glum interior shampoo, that will clean all the plastics up fantastically, you will see nicotine streaking down the plastic ! Should remove most of the black dirt on the plastics

Aup pal I’m a hgv driver get some chrome mega clean to bring then lockers and all plastics up and some chrome blink to leave a nice Finnish mega clean spray it on and leave it about 30 seconds wipe it off good stuff
Tell me how did he spay the inside doors and trims and panels with all that carpet still down ?
Rip all them panels out inside that cab if your keeping it and replace them with new ones

As a clean freak for my truck or the many ive drove over the years I think I would’ve done most of the cleaning before it went to paint

Unfortunately you can't do much with the back of the cab. To much water/heat will melt the glue and it will bubble and peal. A good all purpose cleaner and steam will get that looking fresh in no time. We have done trucks in the past!

You need some apc cleaner, this stuff works great.

Trucking is the worst in the world in terms of stress.I don’t tell anyone that i drive a truck as I am ashamed of what I do as the job title on paper looks bad.I don’t have a passion for it but I do like to travel and see new places as everyday is different.But the money is amazing I can’t lie that’s why I stayed it has got me everything in life.
Don’t get a job at Perry and finch poultry transport because you will be driving vans like these
