J+M Morgan Burscough Lancs is the company repairing the Scania, I have known Mike for many years and would recommend his company . A very old saying “You get what you pay for”
You are a very brave man , you deserve success after all this effort . Personally i would have opened a Business account and put in £25k of your own Cash . Then apply for a operators license , then got a Truck on a two Year lease with all the maintentanance and breakdown cover thrown in . Then you are go to go without the worry of breakdowns and running out of cash . . Good luck and i hope it works out for you .
Deadly video sir👌 looks like things are taking shape with the new purchase 😊
It is good to see someone who appreciates the issues mechanics come up against ,and jobs can not be accomplished in the manufacturers booktime .Which is a joke ,they work on the theory that everything goes to plan and there is no issues ,also it does not include you having to actually get the tools etc ,
Guys we all make mistakes in life! Use your words to encourage this man. You can do it brother! I have my own truck in United States. Keep your overhead low and pay cash for everything and you will survive in any market. I paid cash for my truck 2 years ago and I have some really well. Remember there's always going to be people who will discourage you but don't listen to them. Never give up! Much love from your brother from the US US
I really hope you get your money's worth on this truck! rooting for you from Norway :D
I like your videos , and you come across as down to earth.

I just love that this guys accent is like a perfect blend 50% UK and 50% wherever he's from (not tryna be rude just don't know where he's from). How long have you lived in UK for mate?
He’s from The Dominican Republic via Liverpool 😂😂
He is British/Dominican, I'm 100% British, and his Mother is Dominican, which makes him a Brit, as he was born a British citizen.
@@LisaFernandotu también eres dominicana? Yo también vivo en Inglaterra, saludos de un Español! 🇪🇸
@@gregroddis7861 vaya, soy camionero Ingles (Ex-militar) Que grande es el tio.

Fair play man.
Doing a good job and learning for next time, Folks need to give him a break he has the funds to give it a go and the passion, Funny how some keep knocking him but i imagine he is doing better then you jealousy is a bad thing....
I'm married to the mechanic 😂 😊
In what part of England are you living?
Bull
@DanielWoolley, no, that is my wife
@@Wigan_fitter fair enough then mate I thought this was a fake comment like alot of people do
You married a actual man, a rare beast these days.
Brakes are just running maintenance, wait till you do an engine or gearbox
Maybe a lease with option to buy might be a better deal to start off with.. allows you to run the vehicle and have the dealer foot more cost of these repairs.. that should not need doing before youve even worked the unit...
Truck parts very expensive.. especially Scania... Rediculous
You know you can trust them if they let you film it XD
If things do become tough ….. eat the Yorkie bar
Watching you standing around like a driver, once you get that invoice the next time you will be wanting to be more involved to save some ££
This guy sounds like he's constantly drunk.
BEST LUCK , Age 60, 33 yrs on off hgv/ lgv driving . EX mechanic easrly 1980s , city, guilds 380-381 . PREF just TO drive take £ hour (PAYE) .

Shame you didn’t take a mechanic with you before you brought it
Sadly, I was outside of the country at the time he bought this truck; it is what it is. He is surely learning from all this, which is good, I'm very proud of him.
It's a 2nd hand truck, there will be things need doing to it. Good luck with the new adventure mate, love the envy from the haters.
